Previously, on The Stardust...

"Um, we hate to bother you sir, but. May we possibly board your ship? Dio only paid us really to be a part of his crew. We never really meant harm." Kakyoin asked, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Avdol raised an eyebrow.

"Uh huh. And where's your proof of that, you scallywags?" He questioned, eyeing them suspiciously. The four reached around to their belts where they pulled out a small sack. In each of them were about 30 shillings, the equivalent of $100 US dollars. Avdol's eyes widened significantly. "Oh wow. Um okay. I will have to talk to the captain but come aboard. Red! Jotaro! We are leaving! Get your asses back on the ship or we leave you!" He shouted, turning back to his own ship and walking across the gangplank. The two men he mentioned came up from the hull of the ship, and crossed behind the four other men. Now that everyone was on the proper ship, the plank was taken back in and The Stardust was off and sailing again. Joestar walked out of his quarters, his wounds taken care of and his coat was nowhere to be found. He wore a white undershirt and his regular pants and sword on his belt. He spotted Polnareff and Kakyoin standing around and glared. Avdol walked up to him.

"These four sir request that they stay on this ship. They were paid by Dio to attack us rather than attack out of spite. They have 30 shillings each, to further prove their innocence." He reasoned. Joestar nodded, and walked up to them.

"Introduce yourselves, for the record." He demanded.

"My name is Noriaki Kakyoin, and this is Hierophant Green. He goes by Hierophant. I am a movable player on the ship, but I worked as a helmsman on 'Strength'. Hierophant specializes in knots and repairs to the sails." Kakyoin explained stepping back to let Polnareff introduce himself.

"Bonjour, I am Jean-Pierre Polnareff and this is Silver Chariot. Everyone calls him Chariot mainly. I am mainly known as a navigator or watchman spending time in the crow's nest. Chariot specializes in swordsmanship and a little in guns." He bowed, his french slipping through.

"Ah a frenchman." The Fool sneered from his seat on one of the stairs up to the helm. Jotaro was already up steering the ship. Polnareff snapped his head and glared at the man.

"And who are you? Some twat?" He spat back, angry his lineage was being made fun of.

"Ladies ladies you're both pretty, can we get on with it?" A crewmate who was passing by spoke. Joestar sighed, and spoke once again.

"We could always use more people on this ship. We do have a navigator, or at least a charter but we could use a lookout, Polnareff you can go up to the crows nest. Kakyoin, you said you were movable. How are you at commanding crew mates? We could use a Boatswain (bosun)." The captain ordered. Kakyoin thought for a moment.

"I suppose I am alright at giving orders. I would be glad to take that position." He smiled. Polnareff scampered up the rope ladder to the crows nest, then stopped short.

"Hello mademoiselle." He spoke, meeting Holly. She jumped, as she was facing away from the hole in the ground.

"Ahh! You scared me!" She hollered, frightened as she had just seen this man on the enemy ship.

"It is alright, the captain is letting me stay. I will not harm you." He muttered, climbing up and standing to the side in case Holly wanted to leave.

"Of course papa would want to keep you ruffians." She muttered before slipping down and going to speak to her father. She left Polnareff in her wake, alone once more.

"Papa?" He thought out loud. "Wait a minute, that means. Oh Ew!" He groaned, slapping his hands over his face. This man is still a womanizer wherever he goes.

Down below on deck, the special crew members were playing a game of cards.

"Go fish." Chariot spoke, talking to Star Platinum.

"But I cannot fish, this is not a fishing boat?" He was confused. Hierophant facepalmed.

"Draw a card you wanker. That's what 'go fish' means." He groaned. Star looked sheepish. He apologized profusely before drawing a card. Next it was Hermit's turn.

"Do you have any fivers?" He muttered, fiddling with his spyglass. Red handed him a five of diamonds. Purp gathered his cards and placed them down in his separate pile. The Fool skimmed through his cards before speaking.

"Are there any eights?" He asked, receiving one from Star. He nodded his thanks before placing his pile down.

"Do you have any tens?" Star asked.

"Go fish." Chariot responded, smirking. He had one card left to place a pair and he would win the shillings they gambled for fun. Star sighed and drew a card. Chariot had not placed his cards down in piles like the others, so no one knew that he was about to win. He turned to Hierophant.

"Do you have any twos?" He asked, a pleading look in his eye. Hierophant nodded and handed him the two of spades. "Yes! I win!" He slammed his cards and pairs down on the deck and laughed triumphantly. He threw his hands up in the air and giggled like a little girl. The others frowned at the poor sportsmanship, but said nothing as they all were pirates.

"This is mine now." He picked up the small bag of shillings and dumped it into his own, before returning the bag to the middle. "Anyone want to go again?" He snickered. The other members looked at each other, and got up and left. Chariot scoffed. "Sore losers." He crossed his arms before packing up the cards into the very old box it was stored in. Up in the helmsman's position, Jotaro looked on, his eyes catching something from the corner. He turned to look and saw a shipwreck on some rocks.

"Avdol." He called out, and the man walked over.

"Yes Jotaro?" He looked at his compass rather to where the young man was pointing.

"Oi, get your head out of your ass and look where I'm pointing." Jotaro snarked, causing Avdol to look up sharply. He saw the shipwreck, which was still alight. "Do you think it's Dio?" He asked.

I loved writing this, I really hope you guys like it. Some calm before the next storm, lol. Can you imagine the stands playing a dainty card game like 'Go Fish'? Yeah me neither. But I did it anyway.
