PSA: i do not fully remember the exact timeline of the hunger games so in this AU some things may be off!
As soon as we get off the train, we are pushed into tiny carts. "You guys haven't seen the capital yet! Oh, I am so very excited to show you," Effie chirps.
Effie starts talking to Haymitch, who doesn't seem to care, while Peeta and I sit in silence. A few minutes pass and we've made it to our destination.
"Come on, follow me!" Effie hurries us into a tall white building. When we get in, we go to an elevator. On the 2nd floor, we get off. The room that we all have just entered is full of many people. As soon as we walk in, everyone stares. "Y/N, you follow me. Peeta, go with Haymitch."
Effie's heels click as she tells me what will be happening, "You are going to be prepped for opening ceremony. They will do things like wash you, tweeze, wax, brush hair, extensions, pedicures, manicures, and more."
They did exactly that and I won't lie, it hurt.
