Jen pov:
It was late at night, and today was the day me and Chris first meant. He didn't even say a word about or anything, I felt so pissed off. I decided to wait and see if he did anything, but when ever I dropped hints he acted oblivious.
I shuffled awkwardly in my desk chair at work. I had finished editing all my videos and recording videos so I sat slumped in my chair. I decided to watch anime. I covered myself with a blanket and grabbed the Ben and Jerry's double fudge brownie ice cream. I quickly pulled up 'Gekkan shouji nozaki-San' and began to watch the first episode. I love slife of life anime and I'm pretty sure sparkles* and Martyin that I'm watching anime.
I ate some of the ice cream and watched.
Man Sakura is a fail like me, I mean she said to him that she was his biggest fan geez, when she meant to say I like you. I laughed at her reactions to a everything he was doing and it was hilarious.
All of a sudden a bunch of people walked into my office closed my computer.
"Hey what the hell!" I screamed, and they began to wheel me away in my chair. I looked at them in the light of the hallway and saw Kim, Ross and smith wearing woman's sheer stockings over there heads.
"What the hell are you guys doing." I asked confused. They shoved me into the elevator and clicked the button to the roof and exited the elevator. I frown and scream "wtf how rude."
the elevator door opens and reveals a world of fairy lights and lanterns illuminating the dark. I wondered out of the elevator smiling. There was a small table for two and out appeared a Chris in a tux. I smiled and said "I was beginning to worry that you forgot."
He laughed and kissed me on the for head.
"Why would I ever forget the first time we meant." he said and I smiled. I remembered the first time we meant.
Flashback:
I played on my game boy inside my grandpas house. Every year we went to this stupid place, what a summer wasted, I thought to myself. At least I have my game boy.
I heard someone sigh and I looked up to see my mom.
"Jenna you need to go outside and stop
Playing with your games it's not healthy." she said, and I rolled my eyes at her and said "there's no one to talk to or play with." She smiled and went down to my level.
"Grandpa said there's a nice boy next store you can play with." she said, and smiled, I frowned at her and said "A boy, please!" My mom pushed aside of hair away from my face and said "Hey just because he's a boy doesn't mean he's bad. I was friends with your father as a kid, and now look what happened." I rolled my eyes at her and said "So what? Boys are stupid anyway."
She took a deep breath and exhaled and said "How about this, I take your game boy away and you can read or play with the neighbors kid." My weak spot reading, I rolled my eyes and walked out of the room. My mom followed me and said "Dad can you introduce Jen to the neighbors kid." My grandpa walked out of his office, where he often built model ships in a bottle. I still don't understand how he made them! He smiled and me and said "sure."
I slipped on my sneakers and walked outside with grandpa.
"Jen your going to love Chris he's obsessed with gaming like you." He said trying to reassure me because honestly I probably looked very annoyed. We walked up to the doorstep and he rang the doorbell. A lady with dark brown hair opened the door and smiled.
"I glen I see you brought a friend." The woman said smiling at me. My grandpa looked down at me and said "This is my granddaughter Jenna, and we were wondering if Chris would like to play with Jenna. She doesn't have any friends up here and doesn't do anything but play on that name boy." I frowned at him and said "Game boy." He rolled his eyes and the lady laughed.
"Of course. Honestly he doesn't have any friends at school and needs to get off his devices." She said "I'll go get him, wait here." she wondered into the medium sized house and I could hear her say "Chris, The neighbors granddaughter asked if she could play with you." asked more like forced I thought to myself. I heard a grunt and the woman said "Now Chris you need to socialize, listen it's not healthy, this will be good for you. Also she loves games so maybe you two can talk about all those new games." she tried to say with excitement. The boy grunted again and got up.
"That's my baby boo." She said. I laughed silently.
"Mum don't call me that." the boy said. A boy with dark brown hair like his moms and about a few inches taller than me walked out. He was wearing capris and walrus tee shirt. He wore glasses like me which made me smile slightly at him because he was kinda cute with them.
"Introduce yourself." his mom said. He looked up at his mom and then back at me and said "Hi I'm Chris what's your name." It seemed almost forced.
"My names Jenna, nice to meet you." I said offering my hand. He smiled and shook my hand.
"Ok why don't you two go outside and play." his mom said and we nodded and walked away from the house. I awkwardly stuffed my hands in my pockets. I knew I was 14 but I hadn't talked to a boy really.
"So where do you want to go." he asked I shrugged and said "I haven't explored here, I usually just play game boy." He smiled and said "I usually just sneak my game boy outside and play it outside." I laughed and smiled at him.
"We could go to the beach and play with my game boy." He says flaunting the game not he took out of his pocket. I smiled and said "Awesome! But isn't the beach a while away." He looked at me and said "We can a bike."
I twiddled my thumbs at the thought of a bike. I didn't have one here.
"I don't have one here." I said and he nodded and then said "you can ride on the back of the bike. I have a place for luggage." I nodded and we ran to his bike in the driveway. He sat the bike up straight up and I jumped on the back and he began to pedal. I grabbed onto his back in fear and close my eyes that I might fall and held on for dear life. I looked up at Chris pedaling and smiled. I held on for two reasons that day.Reality:
I remembered that day like no other, and I will defiantly never forget it. We sat down and I looked down at the meal. My favorite spaghetti I thought to myself, and Chris poured us champagne. I looked carefully at the champaign, ok there was no engagement ring in there ok good.
"Is something wrong." he asked nervously. I laughed and said no. We clinked our glasses together and took a drink.
We quickly ate and he had a smirk about something. Then all of a sudden a song started playing. I laughed at the music that was playing and he smiled.
When your legs don't work like the use to before
"Would you like to dance." He said getting up and offering his hand. I nodded and got up. I wrapped my arm around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
And darling I'll be loving you till were 70.
Chris kissed me on the head and began to hum to the song. We danced till the song was over.
"Jenna, will you be with me forever." he asked and I smiled and said "Of course." Then he pulled something out of his pocket and got down on one knee. I put my hands on my mouth, omfg!
"Jenna, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, will you marry me." He said opening the box revealing the ring. I smiled and screamed yes. He got up and hugged me, and put the ring on my finger. It was small but beautiful and I didn't want a big ring anyway. I kissed him, and he smiled.
