Strong Arm

"AND HERE WE ARE!! THE FOURTH ANNUAL ESPER THROWDOWN IS A GO!!!"

An announcer's voice rang out through the amphitheater, as bright lights from the ceiling pointed down at the large makeshift boxing ring in the center of the room.

This was formerly an abandoned classroom in an abandoned school building in the more poor districts of Academy City..

But tonight, as it was once every four years, it was an illegal fighting ring for all sorts of bold espers to go test their powers in a no holds barred showdown.

Crowds of people yelled and jeered, roaring for the fight to start already.. The entire crowd, except for two individuals sitting in the audience, wearing black jackets so as not to give themselves away as goodie twoshoe girls from Tokwadai Middle School.

"Errrr.." Mikoto Misaka muttered. "Is.. this really what happens once a year!? Why hasn't this building been demolished?"

"Beats me.." said Mikoto's best friend Kuroko Shirai. "But it's been a hassle for the last 4 years for Judgement to even find this place.. and finally we found the center of the illegal fight ring that's been going on."

"And enlighten me." said Mikoto. "Why is Ben entering? He's practically the most famous Judgement Officer in the entire city, the moment he uses his powers.. dead giveaway.."

"They think he's just here to blow off steam, and that there's no way he'd give up the place.." said Kuroko. "See, Ben, unlike us, isn't a top tier student, so they'll let off a little."

"Riiight.. still think they're going to be rather suspicious of him." Mikoto muttered. "I should go in, make sure he's okay."

"Now now Sissy." said Kuroko. "You know he can handle himself."

"You know.. sometimes, I think you try to get him killed on purpose." Mikoto said, glaring at Kuroko slightly. "This isn't some sort of jealous spite stunt is it?"

"WHAT!?" said Kuroko. "Since when have I ever been jealous!?"

Mikoto raised an eyebrow.

"Don't answer that question." said Kuroko. "Anyways.. he'll be FINE!!  Worst comes to worst, Ultimate Humungousaur will beat down all these posers!!"

"Not if what our mission is correct." said Mikoto. "Esther told me that according to new information, the Number 10 Level 5 is our target.. she's the one whose been keeping these fight rings going because so many people want to pay money to see her."

"Yeah?" said Kuroko. "So?"

"So Ben's job is to bring HER in.. the STRONG ARM.." Mikoto said. "I have no idea who made her the Number 10 ranked, but like with Impulser who was ranked 8, it's an abysmally inaccurate rank.

"Now come on.." said Kuroko. "It ain't that bad.."

"WWWAAAHHHHHH!!!!" A large muscular high schooler was suddenly sent sailing over Kuroko's head as he had been thrown by the individual down in the ring below.

A girl stood in the center of the ring. She wore a black leather jacket like a cape around her shoulders ,a black sports bra with a skull on it, a spikey collar, and had  short cut black hair. She had a bandage over her nose, and wore high black combat boots.

The girl thrust her fist into the air. "YEEAAAAAHHHH!! BRING IT ON CHUMPS!!!"

"CRASH!!" The highschooler she had thrown, smashed straight into the wall, blood pooling out of his body as he fell down, and volunteer medics who probably had no idea what they were doing dragged him out of the stands.
