Spencer's POV
Olly and Kayla really seemed to be hitting it off. I hate it. She's my girlfriend. They had been talking for an hour now, and the amount of times she laughed, was like all those unnessecary laughs on a sitcom. Every. Five. Minutes. Gee, that guy must be funny, 'cause I thought I was, but Kayla never laughs that much for me. I could feel something burning up inside of me. Jealousy. Man, I hated that feeling but it just wouldn't leave. I felt like I needed to punch him or something, it was like he was hitting on my girlfriend. Air. That's what I need. Just some air. I sigh and get up, but feel a tug from behind. It's my mate, Sam. We weren't at the ice cream place anymore, by the way. We had gone to the bar for a drink and some others had left by now.
"Whoa there, mate. Where you think you're going?" He asks, grinning at me. I sigh.
"Funny seeing you here," I joke. Obviously, Sam was not sober. In fact, he was drunk.
"Hey!" He burps, laughing. I brush his hand off my shoulder.
"I'm going outside for some air," I state.
"Mate, you have been watching those two," he says, raising his eyebrows, winking, "for an hour now, what's going on?" He hiccups, grinning.
"Nothing." I insist. But he doesn't take that as an answer.
"Does someone have a crush?" He laughs, winking at me. I roll my eyes.
"You're drunk." I state, and he shakes his head rapidly.
"Nuh uh!" He denies, and sigh.
"She's my girlfriend," I say and he laughs.
"Ooooooooh! Right!"
"You're drunk."
"Is not."
"Is too."
"Is not."
"Is too."
I sigh, rolling my eyes and I walk out of the bar, and I take a deep breath of the fresh air. I sigh, closing my eyes. I had never felt jealousy as much when boys talked to Kayla. I took it as a friendly gesture.
"Babe, are you okay?" I hear her voice from behind and I jump.
Kayla's POV
Olly had been talking to me for an hour now, and I had to admit, he's quiet a charmer. He's hillarious, talkative and really kind. I caught him singing to himself at one point, and he sounded amazing, but I didn't say anything. But as I saw Spencer walk out, I knew something was up.
"Sorry, Olly, could you just excuse me for a minute?" I ask, standing up.
"Sure! No problem!" He says, grinning. I thank him and walk after Spencer.
"Babe, are you okay?" I ask him, with his back faced towards me. He jumps and I chuckle.
"Ummm, yeah, I'm fine." He hesitates, giving me a quick smile.
"Spencer, tell me," I say, not falling for it.
"It's nothing, babe, now go back to your little play date," Spencer says.
Ouch. A play date?
"A play date?!" I exclaim.
"Babe, I didn't mean it like that.." He insists, but I stop him. I gasp, and start grinning.
"What?" He asks, suspiciously.
"You're jealous!" I say, chuckling.
"No..I'm not.." He poorly denies, turning red.
"Well, how about you come over and meet the guy. He's actually pretty nice," I say, winking at him.
"Well..I don't know.." He mumbles, but I bring him close and hold his lips close to mine. Our breaths show in the cold air, and I taunt him. Our lips brush, but I tease him more.
"For me?" I ask, putting on the puppy dog eyes.
"For you," he sighs, rolling his eyes, whilst grinning.
"Yay!" I squeal, before I give him a quick peck on the lips. I grab his hand and bring him over to the table where Olly is.
"And who may this be?" He says, chuckling, as I drag him over and practically push him in to his seat.
"This is my boyfriend," I introduce, raising my eyebrows at Spencer.
"Boyfriend, hey? Well you're a lucky man," he says, winking at me.
"The name's Olly," he introduces, holding out his hand to Spencer, and fortunately, Spencer happily shakes.
"Spencer," he says, grinning.
Cassandra's POV
Olly seems to have taken a big interest in Kayla. I kind of feel jealous, but I put those emotions to the side. Kayla's everything I'm not. She's pretty, confident, talkative, and just generally..awesome. I should've known Olly would like her. Not that I was expecting Olly to like me. It's just, I really liked Olly. But I had been keeping my eye on a guy across the room, over the past few hours. I think his name is Liam. I'm not sure if Kayla invited him. He seems pretty shy and unsure, I hardly heard him speak. He has a clear, strong Irish accent when he speaks though and obviously loves pool. I love pool, but I'm not Irish. I'm British though, and I find my accent so annoying, whilst others find it cool and amusing. I don't know why, I've always wanted an American accent, or Australian. I look across the room, but Liam's gone. I hadn't seen him in the past 10 minutes, which is weird.
"Looking for someone?" I hear a strong Irish accent from behind. I swivel around, my face going red.
"Nup..no one.." I mumble, smiling to myself.
"You've been watching me for the past hour, I know you were looking for me," he says, chuckling. My face turns redder and redder. He knew I was watching him.
"Uh," I croak out, clearing my throat, "I'm..I'm sorry." I apologize, but he shrugs, frowning.
"Why are you sorry?" He asks and I shrug.
"Want another drink?" He asks, raising his eyebrows at my empty cup.
"Thanks so much," I say, reaching for my purse.
"It's on me," he says, resting his hand on my arm.
"No, no I can't.." I protest, but he cuts me off.
"I insist," he says, chuckling and I smile sheepishly.
"Thank you so much," I thank him, grinning.
"No problem," he says, and I smile to myself.
Free drink from a hottie?
