Spencer's POV

Ugh, why was she being so annoying? It's all Olly's fault. Olly is such an ass and can't seem to leave her alone to make her own decisions. It's so annoying! I don't know what she sees in him, he's not even funny. I read through my texts one more time.

Spencer: You aren't friends with that Olly guy, right? He seems like a total ass :)

Kayla: Well, then I guess I'm friends with a total ass.

Spencer: What do you see in him anyway?

Kayla: Everything, can we not talk about this?

Spencer: No, I insist. You seem to be a big fan of his.

Kayla: Spencer, don't be a jerk.

Spencer: I think the only jerk is Olly.

Kayla: Since when do you control my friends?!

Spencer: I don't, I just don't think it's a good idea to hang out with him.

Kayla: I can make my own decisions, okay?

Oh my gosh. She sounded like I sounded last night when I told Olly not to be such a control freak. But really, I'm the control freak. I'm the jerk. I opened the keypad and typed my last message.

F i n e. W e ' r e o v e r !

Sent.

Spencer: Fine. We're over!

Goodbye lovelife.

Olly's POV

We have been texting for half an hour now, and she has never failed to make me laugh. But eventually, she didn't reply for fifteen minutes. I decide to call her.

Briing

Briing.

Briing.

Briing.

"Olly!" I hear her voice on the other line. I grin and start to relax.

"Kayla, are you OK? You didn't reply for fift-"

"He's gone." She murmurs. Who's gone? Why does she sound like she has been crying?

"Kayla? Who's gone?" I ask.

"Spence. He..he broke up with me!" She exclaims during hiccups of crying.

"Kayla, I'm..I'm so sorry. Do you want me to come over?" I suggest. I think she could use some company.

"Yes..thank you Olly.." She sniffles, and I shrug, even though she can't see me.

"Anything for a friend," I simply say. I can hear her smiling through all the tears over the phone.

"Okay, just text me your address when you're ready!" I say, getting up and opening my closet full of clothes.

"Okay Olly! See you soon! Thank you!" She whispers.

"Yes, see you soon to and no problem," I say, grinning. I hear the hang up beeps and decide to get ready to go to her place.

Kayla's POV

I..I don't understand. We have been dating for over 3 years now, and he dumps me, over one little fight?! He thinks it'll make it better, to break up with me. But no, he'll miss me. I put on my music on my iPod which, awkwardly, turn out to be songs about break up.

So what?! I'm still a rock star!

Skip.

I guarantee you'll miss me, 'cause you changed the way you kissed me.

Skip.

Nevermind, I'll find, someone like you.

Skip.

Since you been gone, I can breathe for the first time.

Ugh. This is hopeless. It seems like I can't catch a break. Like, everything reminds me of Spencer. Even that car parking sound, coming from my driveway. Wait, what? Olly's here! I turn off my iPod and run down to the door.

"Olly!" I squeal when I see him. I know, it was only yesterday when I first met him, but I felt like we really clicked. Through all those hours of talking, we practically know everything about each other.

"Kayla, are you okay?" Olly asks, worried. I gulp. No.

"Yeah, I guess" I lie, and Olly smiles sadly.

Spencer's POV

I can't believe I did that. I hate myself. I hate myself. I hate myself. Why would I even think of doing that?! Now she'll go running to that stupid Olly kid, that she only just met, for help. I wasn't even thinking, was I? No, I wasn't! I'm just a stupid, dumb, ass that no one likes. That's why I broke up with her, she deserves someone better. But I loved her, I really did. I really just wanted to call her and explain, to apologise, to start again. But I know she would never forgive me. Ugh, this happened too quickly. I don't get it, I loved her. This was all my fault!
