Liam's POV

Owwww. My head burns, and is throbbing. I groan as I open my eyes, and the light pours through the window, piercing my eyes. I stumble out of bed, clutching my head, and closing the curtains. I unsuccessfully make it to my bed, and end up on the floor. Ouch. My phone beeps, which, in my mind, is a giant siren that won't stop echoing. I sigh and pick it up.

Who? What? When? How? What? What? Who?

Kayla's POV

Things went pretty smooth last night, I guess. Olly and Spence seemed to get along well. I guess. Sort of. Maybe.

*flashback to the night before*

"He's really a jerk to you, sometimes," Olly admits sheepishly, and I turn red.

"Sure, but he can be really sweet," I defend, and Olly shrugs.

"I don't know, he seems a bit dodgy to me," Olly says, shrugging. I kind of felt hurt at that. Spence is my boyfriend, and that's my choice not Olly's. I guess he's just trying to help, but I don't know if I want him to.

"Well, we all have opinions," I state, shrugging and he smiles.

"That's quite true." He agrees.

"He's coming, let's stop talking now." I suggest, and Olly nods, as Spencer comes over with the drinks.

"So, going sober tonight?" Spencer asks, winking at me. I nod, grinning.

"One lemon lime and bitters for my lady," he says, handing me the drink. I thank him and he winks.

"Oh, c'mon Kayla, live a little. At least one beer," Olly pleaded, and I sighed, grinning.

"She can have want she wants," Spencer says, frowning.

"Oh, sorry, I know, it would just be a little more fun, you know, gotta take risks to live life," he says, laughing.

"What if lemon lime and bitters is her type of fun? Huh? Ever thought about that?" Spencer protests, getting defensive. Olly's smile fades, and he bites his lip.

"I think..I think I better go.." Olly mumbles, and I reach for his arm.

"No, wait Olly! I need to talk to you!" I shout, pulling him to a corner.

"Don't let him get to you," I say, looking guilty.

"I don't think I'm helping.." He begins, but I cut him off.

"If you're gonna go, please, just, give me a call." I say, reaching for a pen on a desk nearby, and revealing a slip of paper from my pocket. I write my number down, and look in to his beautiful, mysterious, playful green eyes. I put it in to his hand and cover it up, and I walk away, leaving him there standing, star struck.

*flashback over*

Okay, so they aren't best friends. So what? I reached for my phone. 15 missed calls, 5 unread text messages. Yay. I read the missed calls list.

Wow, okay. So, they really needed to talk to me. I guess the unknown number is Olly. I open my unread texts and read them through.

From: Unknown Number

"Hey it's Olly :) just give me a call whenever you feel like it."

As I suspected.

From: Spencer<3

"You aren't friends with that Olly guy, right? He seems like a total ass :)"

Wow, thanks.

From: Liam

"This chick called Cass is texting me. Do I know her? :/"

Um, yeah. You guys like hit it off really good last night, you two kissed. Geez.

From: Cassssss<3

"I really like Liam. What if he doesn't like me back? What if it was just the drink talking? Ah, I've never been so nervous xx ):"

Oh, poor Cass. I'm pretty sure he likes you.

From: Unknown Number

"I feel like your boyfriend hates me :/"

You have no idea.

I sigh as I reply to all of the texts, and when I'm done, I get up to go get breakfast.
