________________________________________________________________________________Jihoon and Jun said that they wanted to go to the library to study for a while. I was about to join them when Soonyoung grabbed my wrist, preventing me from following them. I looked back to see his excited eyes. "Wonu-yah, let's go see them!" he said. I tilted my head in confusion, "Hng?" Without an explanation, he started to walk fast along the hallway and towards the classroom for first years on the second floor. "Soonyoung, why are we-" I was interrupted as he opened the door. There, I saw 6 students who were chatting. Some were on the floor, lying down and some were sitting on top of their desks casually. They then all turned back to see who was at the entrance. Seokmin waved his hands, "Hyung~~!" Soonyoung glanced at me and then quickly walked towards the second and first years. As I slowly approched them and sat down on the floor next to Mingyu, I asked, "What are you guys doing?" Minghao, who was sitting on a desk, explained to me, "We wanted to have like a little chat and just chill after school so that we could get to know the newbies better." Hansol, who was sitting beside him nodded along. Even though I was pretty tired, I thought it wouldn't be a pain to join them. Seungkwan, throughout about half an hour, was just looking at us who were talking, out the window, and his desk. Because of that, I approached him and sat by him. He turned to me and gave me a smile. I then thought quickly about a topic so that he would talk more. "So Seungkwan... How was your day?" I asked. He took out his notebook and replied, "Pretty tiring hehe." He showed me his notes that he wrote during class. I was actually surprised at how much he wrote. It was so neat and so elaborate. The words he used were so complex but even so, you could still understand what he was trying to say through those notes. "Uwah... Your notes are very complete, Seungkwan. Is it because you like the subject? Or is it that you like writing?" I asked, realizing that I found a subject to talk about. His eyes avoided me for a split second and then replied, "Mhm, I like writing and I like the subject, too." I kept bringing up some different topics which he seemed to enjoy talking about. "Are you an only child?" I asked suddenly. He gasped and his face lit up. "Ah, no! I have an older sister! She is really close to me. But. like, lately she has been really busy with her new job..." he muttered that last part. With that, he continued describing his sister. After about an hour, we headed back home since me and Soonyoung went to check on Jihoon and Jun but they refused to follow. They wanted to read some books so that they wouldn't feel guilty for slacking off.
Without knowing, weeks passed. We surprisingly got along so well. The keychains for the fundraiser were done. We ended up having one keychain for one of us each. The president of the female student council wanted to make keychains that somehow 'represented' us. Well, to be exact, animal keychains. Us third years got cat keychains. Soonyoung's was a kitten dressed in a tiger outfit, Jun's was a purple cat playing with yarn, Jihoon's was a white cat eating rice in a bowl, and mine was... A black cat with glasses reading a book. The second years had dog keychains, and the first years had bears--except for Chan. The girls said that Chan was as cute as an otter... For some reason. The girls were in charge of selling them and we were to give out the donation to the orphange since apparently the girls can't handle children...

Ding Dong! The bell that signaled that class was over that day. I saw my classmates picked their school bags and left. I sighed and pulled out my books. That day, I wanted to stay back in class so that I could focus more on studying. About an hour later, at around 5 p.m., I heard another bell, meaning that it was time for the school to close. I took all my books and left the empty classroom. As I closed the door behind me, I realized the painful silence outside. The hallway was empty. I walked towards the stairs, heading towards the first floor where the school's gate was. As I was thinking about what to eat later for dinner, I heard footsteps at the back of me. I turned around. "Ack-" I heard a voice that wasn't mine and I felt a some sort of sudden pain on my arm. It took about a few seconds to realize what had happened. It turns out, someone bumped on my shoulder and fell to the ground because of that. That someone was Seungkwan. The papers and books he was holding in his arms were everywhere on the ground. "Ah! Are you okay, Seungkwan?" I asked, lending him a hand on fixing his papers. He nodded and gave me a smile, "Hehe, yes I am. Sorry about that, hyung." I giggled, "That's fine. But why aren't you at home, yet? It's getting pretty late, you know?" I said that as he was picking up his notes but then once I mentioned that, he froze. His smile disappeared for a split second--so fast you wouldn't realize it. He then tried to cover it up by a cute laugh. He then continued to clean up the mess and said, "Ah, I just wanted to revise again in school. I wanted to study for an upcoming test." I nodded, "Ah... I see..." I said and continued. As I was taking the last book he dropped, a letter written in cursive, neat writing in red slipped out of it. I was about to take it but it was snatched quickly by he, who was next to me. His eyes were burning... It showed how important that letter was. His smile was completely gone. His serious eyes and expression he had as he grabbed that piece of paper. He turned to me, and suddenly, he seemed to realize that his expression changed completely. He quickly stood up, holding all his stuff. "Oh, haha! Sorry, about that trouble, hyung! U-Uhm, I need to go now. Thanks for the help, Wonwoo-hyung!" With that, he left hurriedly. I scratched my head in confusion as I stood there, seeing him disappearing quickly out of sight.
