It's been a few days since Kiri has been at Akikos and Shai apartment while he's recovering from the villain attack. During his time with the family has had grown very close to Akiko, and Akemi. Kirishima spends hours watching movies, talking and playing Akemi. Akemi was not looking forward to the day when Kirishima was able to go back to hero work. Akiko came up from the cafe to find the two sitting on the floor of the living room in some sort of debate on who would win in a fight. And from the looks Akemi was winning. Akiko just smiled as she watched the two before interrupting there little debate "So what do you want for dinner tonight?" Akiko asked which caused Kirishima to jump but smile as soon as he realized who it was "Oh! How was work? And how was your day?" He asked and Akiko smiled "Work was work nothing big happened, but Sero and Kaminari did pop by to ask how you were doing I told them they can come by later if they wanted once the shop closes, so we may or may not get some guests" Akiko shrugged as she headed into the kitchen, Kirishima and Akemi right on her heals. Akemi jumped on her moms legs causing a stop to her mother and she looked down at her daughter "Hi Kemi what did you need?" "Nothing just wanted to hug you is all..." Akemi said as she burrowed her face into her mother's legs. Akiko smiled down at her and hugged her back, well tried it was kinda awkward, and then when Akiko stood straight up she saw Kirishima looking at them with a heart warming smile on his face. "So would you like help with dinner?" "Yeah of course" she replied back with a smile. Akiko then told Akemi to go to her room to play and do her homework if she still had any before dinner and that she would come get her then. Akemi smiled and fist bumped Kirishima on her way through the door and ran quick to her room. Akiko raised a brow towards Kirishima "What was that about?" "Oh, it was nothing" he waved it off and started to help Akiko make dinner. While they were making dinner the door knocked and Akemi heard but noticed they didn't, so she went and answered the door.

Once dinner was made Akiko grabbed hers and Akemis plate and headed to the living room, what she didn't know was that there was 2 people in there, so as soon as Akiko walked into the living room she screamed and dropped the plates at her feet and dropped to the ground with a hand on her chest "holy.... fuck..." she whispered under her breath, Kirishima hearing her scream went into panic mode and when he heard the breaking of glass he moved a lot faster, thus ripping his last stitch to be healed, and when he got out there he saw Akiko on her knees in the middle of the glass and food hyperventilating. "Denki get a broom from the kitchen so we can clean this up." Kirishima said to his blonde friend who ran off to look for a a broom. Akemi asked if her mom was okay with a panicked face "yes hun she fine just a little spooked, can you get up on the couch so you don't step on the glass please?" Akemi nodded and crawled on the couch closer to her mom "M-mommy are you okay?" Hearing her daughter she looked up to her and forced a smile "o-of course Kemi, ... just a little... outta breath is all" Akiko said in between breaths. Akemi sighed with relief that her mother was hurt and once the glass was all cleaned up she ran up and hugged her mom and then turned to Kirishima and hugged him as well. Soon after the scare they decided to order pizza for dinner and the 3 adults and Akemi all watched a movie and ate dinner.

A few days later Kirishima was healed enough to go back to work and to go back home. Akiko and Shai had 2 days to go dress shopping for the banquet with Mina and they decided to close the cafe down for the day. Kirishima decided to stop by before they were to meet up for shopping and before he started his first shift back. Akiko herd the knock on her door and figured it was Mina but didn't expect to see Kirishima to say that she was disappointed was a lie. "Oh hey Eiji!" She said with a warm smile "Hey Kio, how are you doing?" He smiled back but sounded a little nervous "Oh I'm fine, are you okay you sounds a little, umm, unsure? " "Oh no I'm okay really just nervous I guess.." he said with a shrug "Hey did you want to have a coffee? We can head down through the back and I can put on a pot?" "That would be lovely.." he said with a blush and Akiko noticed and had a slight blush her self as she lead him down to the back of the cafe where Akiko put a pot on and started baking some cupcakes for Kirishima and Bakugo to enjoy on their patrol shift together. Kirishima noticed she grabbed the chillies and smiled "What you making over their?" He asked with a knowing smirk "Just some treats for you and Bakugo for your patrol shift today and a lunch for the both of you... and maybe some coffee... but who knows ha ha ha" she said with a cheeky smile. Once everything was cooking Akiko sat beside Kirishima with coffee in her hands. "You don't have to do all this stuff for us you know? Especially since it's your day off..." "I know, but I want to..." she said with a slight dusting of pink on her cheeks as she looked at him from her cup. He just smiled and nodded. They sat there while drinking coffee and Akiko finished their lunches and chatted about random things unroll Akiko decided she should know what colour he was wearing to the banquet so she could match. "H-hey... Um... What colour are you wearing?" She randomly said which confused Kirishima as he tilted his head and let out a cute confused noise " I uh mean for the umm banquet... so you know we can kinda match..? I mean unless you dontwanttothatisthenwedontidontmindijustthought-" she was cut off by Kirishimas finger pressing gently to her lips and he gave a reassuring smile " 2 things, first I'm wearing black and red, second I'd love to.." Akikos face was red as she nodded happily at this and he put his hand to her cheek and rubbed his thumb across her cheek. " but no matter what you wear your going to look amazing..." Akikos blush darkened and she leaned into his warm touch. Both had their little moment interrupted by his cell going off and he sighed as he answered it "hello?" "Shitty hair why aren't you at home are you at coffee girls place?" "Yes I am and I know it's time to head into work I was just about to leave actually " " Can to-" "she already has it ready for you and some other things haha" "well hurry up damn it" "yeah yeah I'm on my way" Kirishima then ended his call "Sorry I got to go bow but is it okay if I stop by afterwards?" He asked with a hopeful smile "Of course here you go" she replied handing him the coffees and goodies. With a quick goodbye and good luck Kirishima was off to patrol and Akiko was headed up stairs to get ready for their shopping trip with Mina.
