I got inside the car and have decided to just skip my classes since Lia isn't well. I mean, we're good friends now so I'll take care of her. I drove to Yuna's place again, as usual. Hoping to see her once again, I just really wanna see her.
I grabbed my phone-- Oh. It's not here. Where did I place it? Don't tell me it slipped out of my pocket? I got off the car and rushed to the near payphone to call my phone. All of our memories are there, I can't afford to lose those.. I hurriedly dialed my number and someone picked up.
So, I got nervous for nothing.. "Yeah? I can't afford to buy a new one. Anyway, I'll be on my way back. Is there anything you want to eat?" I was waiting for her to answer when something suddenly caught my attention. Was that Yuna? YEAH THAT'S HER! But wait. Is she waiting for someone? "No way."
I quickly walked out of that payphone, hesitating whether I should run or not. She was standing right in front of the entrance but a car stopped in front of her and she got inside so I stopped and.. just stared until I couldn't see that car anymore.
"Hey!" I looked up and saw Chaeryeong. I was sitting on this outdoor wooden chair in front of this mini-store so she sat beside me. "What are you doing here?"
"How long will you wait for her?" she passed me a bottle of orange juice. "Do you want me to go upstairs and tell her to go out?" she looked innocent. Does she not know about Yuna leaving?
"Didn't she tell you anything?" I looked at her, hoping that she'll tell me Yuna just went somewhere and will be coming back home later. "Like what?" she stared at me, waiting for an answer. I put on a serious face which made her stop staring.
"Just kidding. Did she leave already?" she asked in a relaxed tone, "Already? So, you knew about her leaving?" I raised my voice a bit. I want a serious conversation, I need information about her.
"Yah! Don't act like she didn't inform you at all that she's going somewhere far from here with her mom." she cleared her throat, I guess she's starting to feel uncomfortable.
"What do you mean somewhere far? Where?" I stood up, I'm being desperate now. I can't just let her leave like that. "Wait. So you went here without even knowing that she's leaving? I thought you gave her a ride from your place?"
"What ride are you saying? I didn't even get the chance to talk or even go near--" I stopped, there is one thing that just came in my mind, "So, you're saying she went to my place?"
I hurriedly entered my passcode but before I could even open it, I touched something unusual on my door's handle. I sat down to see what it is and I saw a key wrapped on a tape. It is attached under the lever handle. I got curious so I rushed inside and removed the tape. Why did I even expect that it has a letter inside, it's just a key, a normal key. Why would someone leave it on my door anyway? They should've at least wrote a letter saying what I have to do with this.
Oh. It slipped my mind, I totally forgot that I went here to see if Yuna have had left at least a letter to inform me about her going somewhere. Did she even really come here? I was about to get my phone from my pocket AGAIN to call Yuna but yeah I know, it's not here. Calm down, Ryujin, calm down. I took a deep breath before heading to Lia's unit. I was about to knock at her door but I just realized that I came empty-handed. I did ask her earlier, right? How come I don't remember her telling me what she likes?
