'I already sent an email to Arnold. Transaction date will be on December 26, 20XX, at 7 pm. Sa place na sinabi ni Damon'

Binasa ko ang text message galing kay Stanley. So after christmas. Today is December 23 already.

"Who's that?" I heard Laurence asked. We are in his office for lunch.

Napatingin ako kay Laurence. He's eyeing me.

"It's Camille. She's asking if I am available tomorrow." Which is true dahil nagtext din sa akin si Camille kanina. Asking me and Bri if we could bond together and of course, to do last minute shopping before christmas eve.

Tita Laura invited Tita Carol and tito Daniel to join us for Christmas which is I am happy dahil marami na kaming nag cecelebrate ng christmas. So we need to buy each and everyone their christmas gift.

I immediately typed 'ok' to Stanley and sent it.

Agad ko ding binura ang text message.

Tumango ito. Mukhang naniwala naman sa sinabi ko.

"You can go. Just stay safe." He said.

"By the way, we are already planning to capture Shey after Christmas. The police already know her location. Dad already used his sources"

Nagulat ako. While I was planning to capture Arnold, Laurence is also locating her daughter.

"When?" I asked.

"I am not sure. But I want her to be in jail soon. She messed up with my family. I'll make sure she'll rot in jail" madilim na wika nito.

"Did you ask Tito Tobias about...her father?"

"Arnold?" Kunot noong tanong nito.

I nod.

"Yeah, but dad said it doesn't concern him because he's no longer a part of El Griego. But if Arnold tried to harm you or any member of our family, my dad, without second thought, will help El Griego eliminate him"

Naisip ko tuloy si papa at kuya kung kamusta na sila. I can't wait to be with them after this. Too bad, I can't join them this Christmas.

"Is there any problem sweetheart? Do you crave for something? I will buy it for you" Nagaalalang mukha ni Laurence and bumungad sa akin. He held my hand na nakapatong sa lamesa.

Agad akong umiling at ngumiti. "I am fine. Let's continue eating"

"Hindi pa din ako makapaniwala na nagawa ka nyang saktan Steph" Tina said. Nandito sya sa office ko dahil meron syang dinalang documents.

"Kahit ako man din" I am sad. Itinuring ko talagang kaibigan si Shey.

"I saw it with my two eyes, how she aimed the gun at you. Hindi ako makagalaw noon. I am sorry Steph. Sana napigilan ko sya noon" Malungkot na sabi ni Tina.

I smiled at her. "It's okay. Baka kasi madamay ka din noon. And look at me, I am fine now."

She smiled, her eyes twinkled.

"I didn't realize you are pregnant. Kaya pala hindi ka sumasali sa mabigat na game nung team building."

Of course, the news that I am pregnant with the boss' child spreads like wildfire. I don't know how they knew about it. That's not my concern anymore. Sooner or later, they will know din naman.

"Yeah" napahawak ako sa maliit ko pang tiyan. I smiled.

"I have to go Steph. Baka hinahanap na ako ng manager ko. Kailangan kong matapos yung work ko kasi alam mo na, holiday bukas. Saka na lang ulit tayo magchikahan" she said at tumayo na.
