Day and Night {a Solangelo fanfic}

Day

I saw Nico at the Hades table, so I got up.

I got over there, and sat down, smiling.

"So... You said today was your birthday, right?" he asked.

"Yep." I responded.

"Well... it's my birthday too." He said, a small smile on his face.

"Really?" I asked excitedly.

"Would I lie to you?" Nico responded.

I smile.

We talk for a small time, and then we start eating.

We'd both chosen cake.

Both chocolate.

We ate, I hugged him, and I heard someone go "AW!!"

I think it was Jason.

Chiron cleared his throat, and explained that someone, who shall remain nameless, sent this flash of sleeping magic, which put everyone in a deep sleep.

But hey, it's my birthday. And my boyfriend's.

Boyfriend. It makes me happy all over.

After breakfast, Nico and I went down to the lake.

I held his hand.

Nico rested his head on my shoulder. I rested my head on his head, but not before kissing his head lightly.

I heard a series of 'AW!'s.

I think most of them were from Jason.

That kid seriously needs a break.

When it gets to about mid-day, Annabeth calls "NICO! WILL!"

We both stand up.

"Follow me." she says.

We follow her all the way to the beach.

Percy, Piper, Jason, and other close friends are there.

"Jason overheard you two saying you had the same birthday, so we wanted to throw you a little party." Annabeth explained.

Jason was wearing a shirt that said 'Solangelo'.

I've come to the conclusion he's a fangirl.

Anyways, the party starts, and we eat cake, open a few presents and do other fun stuff.

After everyone had left, we were the only two left.

"I love you." I blurt out.

"I love you too." Nico responds.

We stare each other in the eyes for a minute, when it finally happens.

Our first kiss as a confirmed couple.

It goes on for about 2 minutes.

I love it.

I hoped Nico did too.
