you felt your hair blowing through the wind as you zipped by on the quidditch field the Gryffindor seeker shortly behind you.
"Think you can catch up" you shouted to James your boyfriend as you chased after the snitch.
"I think I can" he yelled zipping past you and grabbing the snitch.
"James Potter has captured the Snitch! Gryffindor wins" you landed to the ground huffing as the announcement came over and ran to your team.
"What the hell was that y/l/n?!" You cocked your head at him
"You just lost us the game because you were fooling around with your disgrace of a boyfriend. Stupid Gryffindors!" he spat.
"He's just fast"
"We'll be faster. We better win next game or you can kiss your spot on the team goodbye."
You huffed angrily and walked away. You couldn't take it anymore the names the looks. A pure blood Slytherin dating a Gryffindor the two were supposed to despise each other. So why had they fallen blindly for one another.
"Hey babe!" James came up to you as you quickly wiped away your tears.
"Hi" you managed to choke out
"What's wrong he said wrapping his arms around your waist and rested his chin on your shoulder as you heard his fellow Gryffindors shout
"Hey y/n maybe you should take some notes from your boyfriend then maybe you'd have a chance at winning.
You gave them the finger and quickly after turned your attention to James.
"Look I'm sorry. I really like you I do, but my whole house hates me they think I'm a fool and want nothing to do with me. I'm a joke James."
"Wait y/n what are you saying"
"I'm sorry babes but I don't think we should be together anymore." You could see tears fill his eyes but you took a deep breath and left.
"Wait y/n!"
You got on your broom hoping to get away from James as fast as possible you couldn't stand looking into his eyes knowing how deeply you had hurt him.
"You mother fuckers!" James spat as his sadness turned into rage he was running towards the group of 3rd year Gryffindors that had been making fun of you.
"I'm going to fucking kill you!" He shouted before being grabbed by Remus on his left and Sirius on his right.
"What the hell's a matter Prongs" they asked taking him away.
"y/n broke up with me because of them"
"Really just because of them"
"Well also because she thinks dating me makes her look like a joke"
"I heard that if Slytherin loses the next game she's kicked from the team." Lily said appearing out of no where
"The fuck" the three Mauderers exclaimed
"I didn't mean on eavesdrop but I saw you after yelling at them."
"It's fine Evans. I'm just upset I can't believe me and y/n are over." he said stifling a cry
"There there" Lily said patting him on his back
1 Week later~~~~~
I had missed James terribly but all of the whispers and shouts and jeers had stopped and I couldn't help but feel relived. I had a calm mind as I zipped through the air speeding up as I finally saw the snitch.
"She's got it y/n y/l/n has caught the Snitch."
You held it up in the air hearing the cheers and smiling until you saw James. Your faced dropped and he looked at you with sadness in his eyes. You were going to do something go over say sorry but then your team came over all congratulating you. Yet you couldn't help but feel sad looking at James. The boy whom you loved.
