Diakko- Is This Love.

Chapter 9

Akko

It's been five hours and the nurse comes out of the room. We all look at her with a worried look on our faces. She smiled at us.

"The surgery was barely a success".

I was thrilled that she was alive. But I still felt extremely guilty for what happened.

"Can we see her?"

"You may, but she might be asleep since she is recovering from the surgery".

"Ok".

We all get up and walk into the room. We all see diana on the bed. Bandages and stitches all over her body. I put my hands into my pockets and walk next to her siting down on a chair. I feel something pointy in one of them. I take it out and it was the knife diana used to murder all of those animal's. It was stained with dried blood on it.  I feel guilty once more. I show the knife to my friends.

"Is that the knife diana used to murder all of those animal's and the things she did to them?!"

"Yeah she tossed it infront of me telling me to leave her, she said she always loved me and it was to late for her".

"She always told me that even if you guys fought or disagree on something, She will still love you, since you brought her so much happiness and love".

"Really".

"Yeah even when she was hurt fighting Amanda, she was more worried about you than her own safety and health. When Amanda hurted you, She was angry and almost killed her, even though she was more injured than you. She still kept on trying to protect you".

"She loves me".

"No Akko, she has always loved you, no matter what happened. she never stopped loving you".

I grab the knife placing it on the stand next to diana. I then grab her hand holding it. Lotte pats my back, then she quickly left the room with Sucy and Barbra. Someone touches my hand. I jump from the sudden touch. I look at diana who is smiling. Her eye changing from black and emotionless to a bright light blue. she slides her hand into mine. She squeezes it, and I squeeze back.

"Hehe i never thought the last bear can get some good hits on me".

Tears running down my cheeks heavily. I hugged diana tightly not wanting to let go.

"D-diana i-im fucken sorry! please d-dont leave m-me. It's my all fault, I'm sorry for telling you to leave. I never wanted this to happen to you".

"It's ok Akko really, I'm alive thanks to you and I'm still with you that's all I care about".

"But it's all my fault your hurt".

"No it's not. Blame Amanda because if she never have you those stares and injected you with poison. None of this would had happened. We would had never fought about it. So don't blame yourself!".

"Ok diana".

Diana sits up straight and noticed my hat I would always wear was not on my head.

"Where is your hat love?".

"It flew off when I ran here with you in my arms".

"Oh hold on".

She reaches under the bed taking out her hat. Putting it on my head.

"There now that's a pretty good place to put it. Wait! Do you still have the knife?".

I reach to the counter and grab the knife handing it to her.

"Ok hold still".

I do what I am asked and not move a muscle. I feel something pressuring the hat down.

"And done! look at it!".

She takes off the hat from my head and shows me what she has done. There was a heart on the  edge of the hat. Inside the heart was her name. Next to the heart said I love u Akko. I cup her cheek leaning in kissing her, she then moves forward retuning it. The kiss lasting for a hot 4 minutes.  soon, We then pulled away catching our breath.

"Thanks Diana I love it".

"Your welcome".

"Not as much as I love you".

"I'm glad".

"Diana".

"Yeah".

"I missed you".

"I missed you too love".

Diana lays down sleeply. Her eye slowly trying to close, But she trying to refuse the sleepiness. I take off diana's hat and put on the counter next to the knife and slightly lay down next to her, wrapping my arms around her. She then wraps her right hand around me, not wanting to let go off me. Slowly she drifts of to sleep. I smile at her, her face when she sleeps is adorable. I get a little conformable, then I slowly close my eyes.
