"I said 'get up'!" Randy growled, tugging on my hair like a dog holding a puppy by the scruff of it's neck. I whimpered and he chuckled.

"How did you know where we were?" I grunted, trying to fight him. "Oh, you left your phone and Mike left that little sticky note. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out." he laughed as I kicked him in the shin.

"Even though you're a pain in my ass I can't help but find you adorable!" he snickered, pinching my cheeks. "Now get moving."

"I hear you." I muttered, wincing as he squeezed my bruised arms. I felt my heart drop into my stomach at the sight of dumpsters and a dark alleyway.

"Move." he growled. I could smell the ashy smoke of his cigarette while he talked. I tried to resist but he wound up pushing me anyway.

"N-no." I whimpered, flashbacks blinding my vision. I screamed and kicked blindly as more terrible memories replayed in vivid remembrance. A hand snaked around my waist and up my chest to clamp around my mouth.

"Oh yes." He snickered, wrapping his other hand around my waist and practically picking me up. "Of course, I just wanna talk to you and this is making it really difficult."

"Mm-mm!" I cried, trying to fling my arms around but they were trapped behind me. I was silently begging for anyone to come and save me...but I knew I would have to take care of myself. "Mm!"

"Scream all you want...it's not gonna help." he chuckled, tightening his grip on me. Tears began to burn at the corner of my eyes as he craned my head back to reveal my neck.

"You still won't tell me who caused these. Was it Mike?" he asked, still easily restraining me. "Nah...he's too soft to do anything to you. Was it that boy from the hospital room? Ah, Jeremy I think it was?"

All I could manage out was a couple of strangled squeaks. Randy chuckled and pulled me into a dead end alley before beginning again. "Nah. He doesn't seem like the type to do that either. What is he to you though? A lover? A friend? Maybe both?"

"Mm!" I sobbed, disgust bubbling up from inside me. I hated Randy. I wanted him dead. Every touch of his fingers made me hate him even more. But his question still lingered in my mind.

What is Jeremy to you? And for that matter, Mike?

"Has he ever..." Randy trailed off, letting one of his hands drift lower than they should've. I struggled even harder than before to get free but his voice rang loud in my ears.

"Ha ha. I'm just messing with you Ellie. Just because you're cute doesn't mean I want to fuck your brains in. Like I told you...I just wanna talk." he laughed, letting go of me. I wanted to run as far as I could but then I realized I was trapped between him and a chain-link fence.

"See. Just because I did that once doesn't mean I'm gonna do it again. In fact, I regret it. A fuck ton I might add." he sighed, awkwardly shoving his hands in his pockets. My fingers wrapped tightly around the cool metal as I absentmindedly gave a sigh of relief.

"Y-you do?" I whimpered, trying to scramble away from him when he took a step closer. He nodded and let his head hang down.

"I'm really sorry about that. Let's just say that Randy would fuck anything...even a toaster." he grimaced, looking away as if he had a bad taste in his mouth. "I definitely learned my lesson."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm getting off topic here. What I really want to talk about is your involvement at the pizzeria." he shrugged, yawning in his hands as if he were bored. What? Is this all he wanted to talk about?

"W-wait. Are you gonna fire Mike?!" I asked, guilt bubbling up in my chest. I figured it would happen but...I wished it wouldn't.

"Nah. As much as I'd love to...I can't. The both of you are too valuable to get rid of...yet." he sighed. Maybe it was just me but he wasn't meeting my gaze.
