Hello everyone, I am currently writing a new story in a different genre. This story is a mix of romance, horror, and thriller. The story is about a character named Manyta aka Mahira. I am exploring new writing styles and I hope you all like this one. If nobody enjoys reading this story, then I will stop writing it. However, I hope it will be a success.

This story belongs to me. Hey, my name is Mahira, and I live in Dehradun with my Dida (grandma). I lost my parents due to a car accident, so I don't have any choice but to stay with my granny. I still remember that night when I lost both of my parents. I know it wasn't an accident, but it seemed like something beyond a natural cause. The point is, what the police and doctor told me is that it was just an accident. When I tried to tell them the reality, they just shushed me and denied my facts. They told me I was just hallucinating the whole situation because I was not in my senses and was in shock because I lost my parents. At that time, I was only 8 years old, so I couldn't argue with them because I was just a kid. So, I stopped telling the truth. But they added further and told me that it was the reason why my mind was not accepting what actually happened, and it caused my mind to make up this imaginary story. Somehow, it gives me some kind of closure that I'm looking for, but whatever they told me, I don't believe them because I still remember what actually happened.

On September 20th, 2003, my life changed completely. It started off as the most horrible day of my life. Everything that happened afterward was affected by that day. Surprisingly, I can still remember everything that occurred. While some details are a bit blurry, I remember the situations and my surroundings. However, I can't recall faces very clearly. It almost feels like an illusion to me, but I know for certain that we were traveling to Rajasthan.

"I remember my parents' faces. They looked happy on the day my dad was driving us to Rajasthan, where he was newly posted. Little did I know that this would be the last time I saw them alive and happy. It wasn't an accident, and I know this because I witnessed it. I saw someone standing in the middle of the road, a lady with long dark hair, wearing a red saree that covered her face. Her eyes were creepy and glittering in the dark. She looked beyond human, and I couldn't see anything else but her. She raised her right hand, closed her eyes, and muttered something. When she opened her eyes, she looked straight at our car, and at that moment, my dad lost control of the car. Everything went blank, and when I regained consciousness, I found myself lying in a dark forest."

It's surprising how I was the only one who miraculously survived the accident. People kept telling me how lucky I was because it was impossible to survive such a crash. The car exploded on impact when it hit the tree.

Later, I saw the same lady who was on the road before the accident, coming towards me. She said something to me, but I was in a state of both caution and carelessness. Despite that, I still remember the exact words she spoke to me.

"Tera is dharti pe firse janam hua hai shaitan ne niti ko badal diya hai teri zindagi mein vo laut kar ayega or is baar teri rooh ko humesha ke liye apne sath le jayega lekin sawal ye uthta hai tum kese jee paogi uske bager"... ("When you are reborn on this earth, Satan may have already altered your destiny for his own benefit. He might come back to you again, and this time, he could take your soul with him. The question is, how can you survive without him?")

I didn't understand what she said, but then she disappeared suddenly.

The police discovered me in an unconscious state after searching for three days. I was found alone in a dark forest, with not even a single scratch on my body. Nobody knows how I managed to survive the dreadful car accident, or who rescued me. After finding me alive, Dida took me to her home with herself.
