The Skeld was as great as normal, with pretty long hallways and big, cool rooms you wouldn't see anywhere but on a space ship.

"My favorite room is Navigation," Olivia says with her English accent. "It has the largest windows and I like looking out at the stars." Me, Michael, Rose, and Olivia were all eating lunch in the cafeteria.

"Did you know last year there wasn't always a person in Navigation?" I say. "Last year the ship flew itself," I add. This year Mr. Mourney or Mr. Smith took turns navigating the ship, which makes me and Michael feel much more safe. We talked about it last night in the Medical Bay. We were able to snatch the beds before Sophia and Bennett did, who deserved absolutely nothing.

"Really?" Olivia says, amazed. Her red hair was straight and perfectly shaped off the sides of her face.

"You're very pretty," I say, not thinking.

"What?" she says, amazed again.

"What?" I repeat. Silence follows, with a short chuckle from Michael.

Bennett and Sophia were talking at a lunch table nearby, and I overhear them.

"We're taking the beds tonight," Bennett says quietly to her. The group I'm with keeps talking within themselves, but I don't take part.

"It's so annoying. They should give us a turn, they got it last night," Sophia snaps. This is true on her part, I just don't want to.

"We deserve it!" Bennet says, getting louder. "Really! We need alone time to do what we want!"

"You don't," I yell across the cafeteria. The room falls silent. "You don't need alone time because neither of you are good people."

"What?" Rose says. I don't look at her.

"At the Medical Bay has 4 beds, if either of you are for some reason put into Med Bay for the night, you don't get it to yourselves to fu-"

"Hey!" Ms. Frenzy yells from the doorway into the cafeteria. I was sure to be in trouble. "With me! Follow me!"

"No," I say. "I won't be getting in trouble for telling them what needs to be said."

"I'm with him on this one, Ms. Frenzy," Allison speaks up. I smile at her.

"Noah? What?" she says, panicking now. "Everyone! Everyone come with me I'm not talking to just Noah!" The group looks around and follows her through the O2 hallway. "You kids are crazy," she adds.

We lead up into Navigation. It was weird seeing 13 people in here. I'm used to 2.

"We have a problem," Ms. Frenzy said. "And we're stopping at the moon."

"The... moon?" Oliver says.

"Yes. The moon," Ms. Frenzy says.

"Am I seriously going to die before I'm even able to sleep in the Medical Bay?" Bennett whines.

"Well, even if we were staying on the ship, you wouldn't be allowed in the Medical Bay anyway," Ms. Frenzy smiles. "The 4 beds are for the 4 crewmates who were here last year. Allison just gave it up and let Olivia sleep in it last night so she could sleep somewhere with Ava. It's the least we can do, to be honest, for what they went through last year."

"Oh, come one!" Bennett says.

"Be quiet, Bennet," Ms. Frenzy says. "You've distracted me." She looks back at the technological buttons and screens at the control panel steering the ship, and the moon ahead of us through the large window. "We've lost fuel."

"You've lost fuel?" Liam says, his small head worried. "What are we going to do? Stay on the moon forever?"

"Well, no," Ms. Frenzy says. "There's a top-secret village on the moon called Polus. All of us are staying there while the astronauts go back to Earth to fuel up for our travel."
