Moonlight: An Among Us Story (Book Two)

Day 5: The Office

7 left: Me, Michael, Olivia, Allison, Ava, Bennett, and Sophia.

3 gone: Oliver, Liam, Rose.

I pull Michael off of me.

"No!" I say. "We are getting the imposter before they kill another person."

Case No. One: Olivia - 12:45 am

"Explain to me," I tell her, "Where you were at all yesterday? After lunch?"

"Well," Olivia says, quietly in the Office on the other side of the table. "You trust me, right? Isn't that enough?"

"No, Olivia, it is not. Last time I saw you you walked out saying you were friends with Bennett and Sophia, which I find to be a problem if I do say so myself."

"Noah," she says. "Who I'm friends with doesn't determine anything and I think you know that. This isn't going to get you anywhere. You have no evidence on anyone."

"Tell me where you were!" I say.

"Weapons! I hung out in Weapons after lunch all day."

"By yourself?"

"By myself."

Case No. Two: Allison - 1:17 am

"I don't think it's you," I say. "Or anybody else that was here last time."

"Then why am I here?"

"Where were you yesterday?"

"Isn't the fact that I knocked Maddie out in the middle of the Cafeteria last time enough to know I wouldn't do this to anyone?"

"Just, answer the question. We're making sure everyone's stories line up."

"I was with Ava in 02. We knew Oliver and Liam hung out there so we were checking it out. It's a pretty cool room, actu-"

Case No. Three: Ava - 1:39 am

"Oh I was with Allison all afternoon," she says.

"Where?"

"O2. We were about to go to sleep when somebody walked in saying there was a situation."

"Okay. Was Allison with you the whole time?"

"Yeah, we were playing card games."

"I thought Allison didn't have her suitcase?"

"It was... my cards...." she said.

"I know," I respond. "Just trying to catch anybody in some kind of lie, I'm sorry."

"You're okay."

"Thank you, Ava."

Case No. Four: Bennett - 2:03 am

"I'm going to try my best to forget everything you've done to me and I trust you to do the same," I begin. "Where were you last night?"

"I was in the Boiler Room like always,"

"Anyone with you?" I say.

"Yes," he said boldly and annoyed.

"Who?" I ask.

"Why aren't you being interviewed?" he asked.

"I was with Michael the whole time, I know it's not one us of."

"What if it's both of you?" he questions, now being the investigator.

"He wouldn't take a part in the murder of his own girlfriend, who, he loved, by the way."
