BEATRICE

-

I WALKED INTO school alongside Celia, quietly. Celia was talking my ear off about how she likes Christopher and how they kissed a few times on Halloween.

Well, I did a lot more than kiss.

My mind all throughout my classes kept drifting off to Ace. That's all I knew about him. His name.

It's been two days since I've last seen him and it's been hell. Every time my thoughts drifted back to him, I'd get really wet and try to relieve some of it, but it'd never work. I'm pretty sure I'm broken.

Like sex only works once and then after that, your broken.

Also my parents came home from their trip to Las Vegas yesterday and I'm pretty sure they haven't suspected anything yet. I hope.

"Hello..." Celia snapped her fingers in my face.

"Huh, yeah?" I said, staring down at my uneaten apple and pizza.

"Did you hear what I said?" She asked, frowning.

I shook my head, "No."

She shook her head, "You wound me Bea,"

I rolled my eyes as she let out a laugh. I looked around the cafeteria and noticed that it was unusually empty.

"As I was saying, did you see the new guys?" She asked.

I shook my head, "No. Who are they?"

"I have no idea, but everyone says they look like a gods."

My eyebrows raise in surprise, "Doesn't that seem a bit much?"

She shrugged, "I haven't seen them yet."

Before I could respond, screaming and shouting was heard from outside. Celia perked up and squealed, "Yay, I thought today was going to be boring."

She grabbed my arm and pulled me towards where the noise was coming from and I pouted. My pizza. She opened the double doors to the parking lot and my jaw dropped. There was a circle of basically the whole school and two people were fighting. More like that one person was beating a guy up.

Celia pulled me towards the crowd and she forced us a way to the front. I gasped as I spotted the poor guy who was unidentifiable at this point. His face was a bloody mess and the guy who was punching him was not holding back.

Eventually a few of the guys from the football team broke the guy away from the guy on the floor. I gasped as I made eye contact with the same pair of beautiful grey eyes.

Ace's face was eerily calm. His face was motionless and his grey eyes were angry. I looked down at his hands and winced, they were bloody and cracked.

I winced again as I watched the motionless guy on the floor being dragged away to the nurse's office, I would guess. Everybody watched Ace in silence and I blinked. He was still so beautiful and handsome.

I looked away from him as a guy about his height strutted in with his hands in the air, "Show's over guys."

He was tall, had lighter hair than Ace and had brown eyes. His dimples were deep and could be seen a ways away. He was wearing a white T-Shirt and black jeans almost identical to Ace's black T-shirt and black jeans.

Everybody started to wander off, but I was frozen under Ace's grey eyes. His eyes said so many things, but I could only read evil. Celia pulled me away as he smirked and walked off to the same car I was in a few nights ago.

What was happening?

*

I stared up at my ceiling as the workout CD I put in was playing in the background and my random Spotify playlist playing over it. I had my pink biker shorts on and a matching sports bra. I was supposed to be doing my daily workout routine, but I was just too preoccupied.

My parents were downstairs reading about global warming and political issues and I frowned. I wish I had real parents. I'm not complaining or anything, it's just that they're so superficial. They check up on me to see if I'm working on my homework, passed my latest tests and talking to me if I got anything less than an A.

Celia was right, it is tiring.

I looked over to my TV and sighed. I'm pretty sure if my parents ever met Ace, they'd have a heart attack. If they ever found out what I did with him, they'd commit murder. I laughed lightly at that.

I reached over to my phone and glanced at the time, it was 6:32. I realized I was kind of hungry so I got up from bed in hopes to find something to eat, but was stopped by a noise.

I listened carefully and looked around my room, but heard nothing. I reached for my doorknob, but not even a second later, the small tapping returned. I looked up and walked over to the window. Peeking down I spotted Ace staring up at me with his killer smile.

My eyes widened and I backed away from the window. No, this was not happening. I reached for my glasses on my table and slipped them on. Maybe I was just seeing things. I looked down and sure enough he was right there.

I opened the window quietly and frowned down at him, "What are you doing here?"

He smirked, "I missed you?"

I crossed my arms frowning, "You can't be here."

"Yes, I can." He said, climbing up the trunk of the tree by my window. I shook my head in urgency. My parents were less than 10 feet away from him right now.

I turned up the music so they wouldn't hear him come in. I frowned as he jumped from the tree and into my room. I crossed my arms frowning.

"Why are you mad?" He asked, closing the window and getting closer.

I stepped back and shook my head. No, he couldn't touch me if I wanted to think straight. I looked away from him and huffed.

"Look at me." He warned. I looked up and stared into his eyes.

There goes my plan. He stepped closer and I backed away again. He smirked taking one more step toward me and I took a step back, falling back onto my bed. I was now sitting and he was standing in front of me.

He lifted my chin up and I could do nothing, but stare. His hand on me wasn't helping either.

"You look so hot right now." He said.

My eyes widened, "Really?"

He nodded, "Definitely."

I waited a minute before I asked the question burning in my mind. He smiled at me.

"Why are you here?" I asked, chewing on my lip.

He smirked and brought his lips to my ear, "It's time for you to meet the real Ace in bed."
