Thursday, May 5th
Hey y'all, my name is Layla! I'm brownskin I have curly hair and I'm I'm 5'6 and I have eyes that look like honey in the sun! I'm a junior in high school, I'm 16 my birthday is June 9th, so it's coming up really close. I live with my mom her name is Lyric. My older brother who is 19 his name is Leon jr and my younger sister who is 13 her name is Lee-Asia.
I wake up to a bright room lightened by the sun light. I lay in bed for about 2 minutes until my mom knocks on my door to wake me up. Ugh I hate school I can't wait till it's over, two more weeks! Me and my mom briefly exchanged words. I get up and get ready for my shower.
I put on something simple some grey Nike sweats with a simple white shirt and a matching grey Nike jacket with some white forces and put my hair in a bun and did my edges I did my eyebrows put some lashes and brown lip liner and lipgloss on I look cute.
I made some breakfast, I don't have to be to school until 8:30, because I really don't need school. also my grades are good so they let me get a hour off in the morning. I woke my little sister Lee-Asia up and told her to get ready and come eat.
After we ate I woke my brother Leon up, and asked him to give me and our little sister Lee-Asia a ride for school. He said yes as always. A brief description of my family, Leon, is a kingpin, he does his best to provide for our family, he dropped out of school junior year when our dad Leon sr the previous kingpin died of cancer and he had to step up for our family. My mom, is pushing through, she hasn't been the same since my dad died, she's a cma and she works in a nursing home! Lee-Asia, is my happiness I love that little girl to death, even tho she gets on my nerves sometimes me and her are close!
