I'm always the first one, but can I be something different for once,
I want to try something new, go down a different road,
Instead of the same one, again and again,
Can I try being last, or a further one from my past,
It's always the same, every single day,
I don't want to be new,
I want to try being old,
They always say the earlier the better,
But sometimes the rule differs,
The path becomes something else, from its original beginning,
Of course there's perks in starting in first,
But the same goes for last, so can I try the path,
I don't like this route, it's always the same ending,
But then again, I can never change my routing,
For the first path is always what I'll be, according to the origin number of starting.
