chapter XXX

recap mattia's pov: "what..." another voice coming from behind her said. the sudden voice made y/n and i turn our heads in its direction. "... the fuck?" it was nico.

y/n's pov
"what..." mattia and i heard behind us and we immediately pulled away to look in that direction. "... the fuck?" it was nico.

fuck fuck, no no no no.

"nico-" i turned around. "i can explain-"

"you and my sister? YOU?!" nico said angrily as he started approach mattia.

"man, we can explain-" mattia tried to say, but i interrupted his words.

"no y/n, go outside." nico pointed to the stairs.

"what?" i frowned.

"outside, NOW!" he shouted making me jump, but i didn't move. nico got closer to me and grabbed my wrist, pulling me aggressively towards the front door and making me whimper by how hard he was grabbing me.

there's when mattia spoke, "hey! yo calm down, you're hurting her." mattia tried to separate him from me but he gained nico's fist on his face.

"nico!" i yelled as i tried to approach mattia, but nico pushed me back. my eyes started filling with tears of fear. i've never seen nico this way.

"go outside y/n!" nico yelled once again.

"please." i cried and my eyes went to mattia's, who was staring at me while grabbing his now red cheek.

"y/n, now!" nico demanded.

"i'm sorry." i mouthed at mattia as tears ran down. he shook his head like saying 'don't worry, i got this'.

"come on, hurry!" nico demanded and i did as he said.

mattia's pov
"bro i'm-"

"don't fucking call me bro after fucking lying to my face!" nico said angrily. "why? why did you do that?"

"nico i'm sorry, i fell in love with your sister." i said and meant it. did i say love? yeah, i just figured out that.

"you fell in love with her?" he scoffed. "you've been fucking her. my little sister!" he tried to throw another punch but i grabbed his arm.

"i love her!" i stated.

"shut up." he said under his breath as he yanked his arm away but i didn't shut up.

"nico i love her, trust me, i do, i promise you i'm not with her for sex, i really want her to be my wife some day."

uh. yeah.

"shut the fuck up." he spat. "you're crazy if you think i'm letting you play my sister."

"nico, i'm not-"

"you're never gonna see her again." he said turning around to leave, but i grabbed his arm.

"nico please, don't do this."

"don't you dare to touch me!" he yelled yanking his arm away. "never try to talk to her or me, NEVER AGAIN!"

"i'm sorry dude, but i'm not giving up this easily, i love your sister." i said.

"nico." y/n's voice filled my ears. she was at the door with tears in her eyes, crying tears of fear.

"y/n i told you to wait outside." nico turned to her then back to me, "you already know."

"nico please don't do this." y/n cried. "just hear us."

"i'm sorry but i'm not doing that." i told nico.

"you motherfucker." nico said under his breath as he started running towards me.

y/n's pov
nico punched mattia again, causing him to fell down onto the floor. nico got on top of him and started punching him nonstop, there's when i ran over him.

"stop!" i tried to pull him off mattia, but he was strong and scary. "nico, please, please!" i begged. "please stop."

nico's eyes traveled to mine and they softened once he saw my tears. mattia pushed him off and i started checking him. bruise, a red cheek, bloody lip, even a wound on his cheek.

"y/n-" nico tried to say.

"get out!" i yelled with tears. "i don't know who you are!"

"i'm sorry." he tried to touch me but i flinched because he was scary.

"get out." my voice went down. nico stood up and did as i said, he walked out of the house slamming the door. "are you okay?" i asked mattia.

"yeah." he groaned trying to sit up. "well, kinda."

i chuckled with tears. "i'm sorry."

"it's not your fault preciosa." he wiped my tears. "it's no one's. we all knew he was going to act like this."

"let's get you clean, okay?" i helped him get up.

i wiped the rest of my tears as i helped mattia to get to the bathroom. he was limping and groaning, nico really did fuck him up.

as i started cleaning mattia's bruises, i couldn't help it but cry because of how nico reacted.

"hey, no." mattia grabbed my cheek. "don't cry princess."

"i just... i've never seen nico like that." i said. "i'm scared."

"it's gonna be fine." he searched for my eyes and found them. "we are gonna get through it, alright? i'm never giving up on you again."

i nodded my head, "okay."

"now, let me see that smile." he smiled, making me smile. "yes! you're so beautiful baby."

"i love you." i let out. fuck. was i right? he stared at me and i was there, hoping he'll say it back. "you don't have to say it back."

"come here." he pulled my chin towards him and kissed me. "ow." he shrugged his shoulders pulling away from the kiss.

"oh my god, are you okay?" i asked worried for his lip.

"i'm fine." he laughed. "and i love you too."

my heart stopped. he does? he really does? mattia polibio loves me? i think i'm passing out.

i smiled big and blushed. "oh my god."

he chuckled, "what?"

"i think i'm passing out." i confessed and he laughed.

"you're so cute." he smiled and hugged him. "i love you."

"i love you too mattia." i said. fuck yeah. finally.
