20.𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 {𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙}

Narrator

"What?! Why?!" Mr Kang shouted.

"I-I'm sorry Mr Kang."

"B-but why? You waited for 2 years. And your just going to end this just like that?!  Did Hyewon do something wrong? I can talk to her."

"No sir. It's just. We're not meant to be. She like someone else."

"Then what about you?"

"I love her. So her happiness is my number one priority. "

"But you love her. You should fight for you both."

"That's the point. What is the use of me falling for her but she didn't catch me. If we proceed this engagement but she don't love me what is the use?"

Mr Kang was speechless. There are at the Kang Villa. It was Hyewon and Minju suppose to be engagement party but before it started Minju ask Mr Kang if they could talk.

Mr Kang was really shocked because Minju suddenly want to call of the engagement. What they didn't know Hyewon was listening. She was hiding behind the water fountain in the garden.

Hyewon half happy and half guilty because Minju wants to call of the engagement. Scenarios started to play in her head. What will happen if her dad agree to call of the engagement.

'She wants to end her life. What if she did it? I will be the cause of it. B-but I don't even remember her.'

Minju Pov

Mr Kang is currently talking to my dad. I can see disappointment in his eyes when he look at me. I just lower my head. A few moments later, my dad told me to go and think again. I don't even need to think again, calling off this engagement is my final decision.

I was too tired to fight him so I just nod and walk towards the garden again. I sit on one of the bench and look at the sky. Suddenly I feel a presence next to me. I look at my right and saw Kyungsoo oppa.

"You okay?"

"Yeah."

He nod and went silent again.

"Have schedules tomorrow? "

"Yeah."

"Where?"

"Japan."

"Ouh really?"

I only nod and smile.  He suddenly stand up and leave. I just let him be and continue to enjoy the night breeze.

Hyewon Pov

"Are you sure?" Kyungsoo oppa ask me. I nod and he sigh.

"Well here goes." He said and walk towards where Minju is sitting.

I then saw Tzuyu being dragged by Momo towards the food section. Momo was whining while Tzuyu doesn't seem to care. I think Tzuyu knows.

I then aproach them and pretend to get a drink. I then saw Momo pointing at the jokbal but Tzuyu shook her head.

"Give her one plate." I said to the chef. He then started to cut it for Momo. Momo then look at me with heart eyes and can't stop thanking me.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" I ask Tzuyu. She then nod and we walk a little bit farther but we can still see Momo thou.

"Does Minju have schedule tomorrow? "

"Yeah Japan."

"Ouh....same*lie*"

"Ouh she's staying in Park Hyatt Tokyo hotel. What bout you?"

"Still haven't booked yet." She then nod. Suddenly Momo appear out of nowhere with her mouth full of jokbal and her hand is holding a plate full of jokbal.

"I gonna go." I said and walk towards my brother who just walk away from Minju.

"Japan."

"Just that?" I ask.

He nod. Luckily I got to know which hotel she is staying.

"What is your plan?" He ask.

"I'm going there too. And apologize."

"That's it?"

I nod.

'I'm started to fall for her.'
