Rockbell, IA x Honeyworks"Now, I know he left it for me..." ____'s aunt muttered in exasperation, digging through a drawer and pulling out random items in search of the small, forgotten piece of paper she'd received from the man who'd dropped poor ____ off a few months ago. Things had been going smoothly for the first few weeks, but after that, the middle-aged woman started to notice that _____ was acting... Different.
Walking and talking with others to school, isn't my idea of fun
Sometimes rocks are thrown my way, so tagging behind, I'll just run, run, run
Classes are so boring, I sneak out at noon everyday
Anxiously like snoring, the blustery breeze blows my wayThe child had just started first grade(a few weeks late, of course), and on the fourth day, Auntie received a call from the principal that little ____ had not only been bullied by some of the bigger kids, but she was sneaking out of class as well. Whether or not it was to avoid the bullies or if she was just still a little off was unknown to her, but she figured if that Doctor fellow could do it once, he could help out with the girl again.
If a world without me exists, a spinning parallel dimension all the same
This burning shell makes me listless,
so leave it for a town with an unknown name
The sights I see, the scents I smell, the sounds I hear and taste as well
I thought they'd be the same by now, but if they're not, please explain how!"Aha!" Her aunt breathed, finally laying eyes on a small notecard with a few numbers scribbled on it. But the number... It didn't look like a phone number, did it? Either way, it was the number he'd left... Reaching for the land line that rested on the kitchen counter, Aunt ____ heard the front door very slowly open and close, and little shoes padded across the floor. ____ shouldn't be home from school yet, it was only half past noon...
"____, dear... Is something wrong?" She asked the girl, slowly walking out of the kitchen and gasping as soon as she saw her. She had dirt on her in places and many bruises on her arms and a few on her neck, and judging by her expression, they hurt. "____, come here, I'll patch you up..." She smiled, walking toward her in an attempt to pick her up and carry her. However, the little one saw it coming and easily slipped from out of the woman's grasp and reached for the door again. There was true fear in her eyes as she stared up at her caretaker.
"He said it would be different! He said it wouldn't be like this! I don't get it! If love isn't supposed to hurt like the Doctor said, why do they still hurt me when they say they like me? Did he lie to me?" She shouted, catching her aunt off guard. Those were the thoughts going through the first-grader's head? Perhaps she should call the Doctor now...
"Of course he didn't, ____, would he lie to you after saving you?" She asked, looking down at her with as much compassion as she could. It was a shame to see how her brother had turned out; not even making contact with her after he left their parents' house. She didn't even know he'd found a woman and had a child, or that he'd become abusive. Had she known any sooner that what she did, the poor girl might not have been so messed up...
"You know what, ____? Lets call the Doctor right now, alright? We'll call him over and he'll talk to you some more and he'll make it all better just like he did before, alright?"
At first the kid didn't seem convinced, but after thinking it over for a minute, and trying to conceal her excitement of seeing the Doctor again, she slowly let go of the door handle and tiptoed into the kitchen after her aunt, who already had the phone in her hand and was dialling.

"Doooooctooor! The TARDIS's phones ringin'!" Jamie called as loud as he could, trying to bring the Time Lord's attention. The ring was consistent but annoying, and after about ten seconds of it, the Doctor shouted from some other room, "Just answer it!"
