𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬

"HEY Y/N!"

i heard bokuto yelling as i shut the front door behind me.

"hi bokuto. hi akaashi."

"good morning y/n."

"ya ready", bokuto said.

"yeah let's go."

the walk to school today was pretty silent besides the humming coming from bokuto. i looked up at the sky.

'no rainy clouds'

'maybe i can ask him'

"he-"

"oh wow look!", bokuto said pointing towards a tree. it took me a while to see what he was looking at until a small black kitten appeared from behind it. bokuto walked up to it and crouched down.

"don't get too close bokuto-san."

i followed behind him and crouched beside him. he started slowly stroking the cats head while humming the same tune.

"isn't it beautiful", he asked me.

"yeah", i said looking down at it.

akaashi then joined us and we all gave the kitten some company.

"i'll feel bad if i just leave her here. my moms allergic to cats", bokuto said pouting.

i looked over at akaashi.

"i already have a cat and i don't think my mom wants another."

they both stared at me as if expecting me to take it in. my aunt was never too fond of cats, but i agree with bokuto. we can't just leave em here.

"i'll take it."

"really", bokuto said, his eyes lighting up.

"yeah, i'll give it a nice home", i said picking up the kitten.

"i hate to ruin the moment but we're gonna be late for school", akaashi said.

"okay, but we need to find somewhere to put it while we're in school."

"how about over here", bokuto said pointing behind a bush.

"that's perfect", i said heading over to the bush.

behind it was a small acre of grass. i placed her behind the bush and opened up my bag. i took out my bento and gave her some of my lunch so she wouldn't starve.

"i'll be back for you", i said before we headed off to school.

as lunch time rolled around i headed out the the huge tree on the top of the hill. that's where we ate lunch from now on. it was also my safe spot, i would go there when i was feeling really down or stressed out.

"here yo can hab fome of ma lunch", bokuto said with his mouth full.

"it's fine, you can eat your food."

"whaeva yo say."

i looked down at my bento. now would be the perfect time to ask him. but i didn't want to do it in front of akaashi, i would she too embarrassed.

"got something on your mind", akaashi said.

"it's nothing."

soon the lunch bell rang and we headed back inside the school.
