Afterwards part 2

A loud crash shook the house to its core, waking (Y/N) up. He got up, changed eyepatch, and walked to Tohka's room already knowing the reason. He knocked on the door.

"Hey, Tohka, you alright there?" Y/N asked.

Clattering sounded from the room as Tohka slowly opened the door.

"Oh, good morning (Y/N)." Tohka greeted.

"Was the alarm noisy?" (Y/N) asked.

"What is an alarm?" Tohka asked.

"A very loud thing that is supposed to wake you up." (Y/N) explained in the most simple way possible.

"Oh that thing that was so annoying that I threw it at the roof." Tohka said.

"I see, may I have a look to see how the repairs would work?" (Y/N) asked.

"Sure and what does repairs mean, are you mad?" Tohka asked in an increasingly worried tone.

"Repairs means to fix something and nope, I am not mad," (Y/N) answered.

Tohka let out a sigh of relief and relaxed.

"I understand that the alarm is annoying but it is important for me to get up and get ready for school." (Y/N) said as he walked in.

"Why are you going to the place of torment!?" Tohka asked in shock and horror.

"Well, school isn't much of a place of torment depending who you are, it's mostly a place of learning." (Y/N) explained.

"Oh, then can I go?" Tohka asked in an excited tone.

"No, but don't worry, I left some food for you and I will show things that I have learned." (Y/N) answered, he looked at the hole. "Ooo, that is going to cost at least 10,000 yen."

"Sorry (Y/N)." Tohka apologized.

"No worries, I'll just go now, there is food on the table and I'll be back at 2PM so don't worry." (Y/N) told Tohka as he grabbed his school supplies.

"Bye Tohka." (Y/N) said as he left the yard of the house and went down the street.

"Bye (Y/N)." Tohka said at the door before she went back inside.

The day's weather was very pleasant, not a single cloud in the sky, birds were singing.

Tohka's optimism must have rubbed off on me. (Y/N) thought.

"Yo (Y/N)!" A voice greeted.

(Y/N) turned to see Shido, in his usual manner.

"I see things have gotten a little better for you, I'm glad." Shido said as he walked up next to (Y/N).

"Thanks, I guess." (Y/N) responded.

"Tonomachi mentioned you met a girl, lucky you." Shido said as he head patted (Y/N).

"Dude, there is 10 minutes before school, hurry it up."
