Chapter 5

Roomie's POV:The evening was good. Well, it was all planned by our parents. Later on, when I was in my room sitting on the bed, talking to Sheri about what happened today. 

<phone conversation>

Sheri: so, what happened?

Me: I am going to marry him after two weeks for now.

Sheri: What! that is too soon.

Me: I know right?

Sheri: Do you guys talked to each other?

Me: No. but

Sheri: But, what?

Me: Well, he looked different?

Sheri: As in pervert?Me: No, handsome I, guess; and I made fun of myself when we were alone.

Sheri: Alone, so what did you guys do?

Me: Sheri, don't get stupid ideas...

Sheri: I was just kidding... tell me what happened.

Me: Well we were walking in the garden and I was going to fall and he just stopped me from falling by holding my waist.

Sheri: Wow sounds like a love screen from a typical romantic movie...

Me: It was so embarrassing....

Sheri: you were wearing heels, weren't you?

Me: Forced to wear it!!

Sheri: Ok, calm down. I think you should sleep now.

Me: wait I just wanted to tell you something...

Sheri: ya tell me.

Me: I won't be able to come tomorrow in the café 

Sheri: why?

Me: I have a date with my future husband.

Sheri: oh date? I just can't believe that your first date will be the person once you loved and now you hate the most.

Me: yes, even I didn't see that. Anyway, it's a forced one.

Sheri: Roomie I think you should just forget what just happen in the past and think about the present.

Me: but Sheri...

Sheri: I know it is difficult to just forget those memories. but at least try it...

Me: I try.Sheri: good now go to bed.

Me: yes, mom.

Sheri: goodnight

Me: goodnight

That conversation made my head feel so light. Now I can sleep peacefully since tomorrow is my first date. Yes, first date. I never dated anyone before. Since I didn't have time for any of these things and after what happened with joseph I could just fell in love again. So I stood up from my bed and changed my clothes to pajamas and drifted into my dreamland.

<next day>

"... wake up" I felt someone shaking me. I slightly opened my eyes seeing none other than Sheri who was trying to wake me up. "no wonder you are a heavy sleeper; come on get up you have to get ready for your date." I sat up on the bed "but exactly why are you here?" I asked. She looked at me "you know nothing about dating since you never dated anyone before. So, Sheri is here to teach you what things you should and shouldn't do while you are out on a date." I just looked at her "I appreciate your efforts and service but seriously?" she answered "I don't want you to be embarrassed on your very first date. Now get up, take a bath by then I will choose your outfit." 

After getting ready... Sheri asked me to wear a dress. which I don't normally. and she also asked me to wear shoes which were matching the dress and also were looking cool...

Sheri: you look beautiful...

 Roomie: well... all thanks to you... I think it's time for you to leave for work.

Sheri: yaa...well all the best. call me if anything happens.

Roomie: don't worry... I will call you anyway. Now go... You are gonna be late...

Sheri: ok-ok, bye... have fun...

Roomie: bye-bye 

After she left I heard my phone ring... I took my phone and it was a message from Joseph...

Joseph: I will be at your house in 10 mins...

I went downstairs... to drink some water...A few minutes later I heard a car honk. I look through the window. It's him. I took a last look in the mirror and went outside towards the car and he opened the door from inside. I just sat inside without saying anything...
