It was ablaze,
The reek of alcohol dazed me,
Shocked me.
I wasn't ready,
The world bowed, her furious warriors washed away into the storm of blood.
I will be forever guilty of the crime of sin,
Greed and blood lust changed into this monster I am today.
They sculpted me with soot and words of evil doings,
Made me laugh and cry to how they please.
I am a sinner,
I am a foe
But most of all;
I am you.

Take me into your bleached hands,
They burn a tune of endless sorrows and unforgettable pain.
They make me drunk,
Drunk of the power you hold,
Your porcelain tiles are covered with pile of dirty gold.
They dug it up,
They scratched mother nature of her skin, they gave her gifts of soil and a smile.
But you took it all,
I admired your ignorance.

How could you ignore their pain?
How could watch the world burn, from your endless skies?
Wouldn't the destruction tumble your hope?
Wouldn't the smoke reach the roof,
And turn your rain into mud
And your clouds a grim gray?
How could you do this to us,
To me?

Lovers are lovers, as they say.
But they didn't tell me,
That the sin of being a sinner  triumphs glory.
Take me, humble servant.
