Part 14

(Y/N) pov.

The next day was really uneventful.
I either slept, ate, or texted with my friends all day, so we're not gonna talk about that. Instead, we're going to skip to Monday.

So... Monday.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm, as usual, and I got ready quick, as usual.

What wasn't usual, was the fact that I was walking to school with Hikigaya.
We texted each other yesterday, that we should walk together.
Well... more like I texted him, and he agreed.

We agreed, that Hikki will wait in front of my house if he gets here earlier, and if I get ready earlier, then I'll wait for him in front of my house.

So, I got ready as fast as possible, so I won't keep him waiting. I grabbed my (f/c) bag, and headed out of the house.

As soon as I got out, I could see Hikki coming my way.

I smiled and waved.

- Good morning Hikki!-

- Morning (Y/N).- he smiled, and got off his bike, so we can walk together.

- Why do you have your bike? I thought we said that we're walking..- I was a little confused.

- Oh, we are walking, I just had to drop Komachi at her school, and this way was faster.- he said.

- Oh, I see. Komachi is lucky to have such a great brother.-

We talked a lot, he was much more talkative since we went to the mall together. He smiled more too. I guess he was happy that someone spent time with him, and stuff.

- Hey, (Y/N). Can I ask you something?-

He was kinda quiet, when he asked, so I could tell that he was nervous about my answer.

- Calm down Hikki. You can ask me anything.- I smiled at him.

- This is probably dumb, but, are we friends?- he looked me in the eyes with a serious expression.

I held back my laughter.

- This is what you were afraid to ask? Dude, we have each other's number, and we walk to school, and home together, and we even eat lunch together.- I couldn't hold back my laugh anymore.

- Of course we are friends, idiot.- I giggled a little more and nudged his shoulder.

- Oh, ok then.- he said, and looked at the ground with a little smile.

I heard my phone bing, so I checked it.

Huh? Totsuka? What does he want?

Hey (N/N). Where are you? The lesson begins in 10 minutes...

- Shit! Hikki, we're going to be late!!- I said.

He got on his bike after I said that.

- Get on.-

I quickly got on his bike, and as soon as I was on, he started pedaling.
I sat on the back of the bike, with my legs hanging down on the left side.
I had my right arm wrapped around Hikigaya's torso.

The wind blew my (h/c) ponytail, and the weather was really nice.

I didn't even notice that we arrived at the school.

I got off the bike, and waited for Hikki to put his bike in the holders.

As soon as he was done, we started to run to class, but halfway through we realized, that we got there fairly quickly, and we had 7 more minutes to reach the classroom.
