Kelsie's POV
Christina and I walk over to Meredith each of us going on one side of her.
"Hey, We want in on Shepherd's surgery. You've been the intern on Katie since the start. You want to work together?" Asks Christina.
"We find the answer to Katie's seizures and we have a fifty-fifty chance of scrubbing in. What do you say?" I ask.
"I'll work with you, but I don't want in on the surgery. One of you can have it." Meredith says.
"Are you kidding me? It's the biggest opportunity any intern will ever get." Christina says shocked.
"Yeah, why would you want to give it up?" I ask confused and curious.
"I don't want to spend any more time with Shepherd than I have to." Meredith says, making me look at her suspiciously.
"Why?" I ask.
"What do you have against shepherd?" Christina Asks.
"If we find the answer, the surgery's one of yours. Do you want to work together or not?" Meredith Asks clearly not wanting to talk about Derek. Christina and I share a look before grinning.
"Deal." We both day at the same time.

Christina,Meredith and I are sitting down at the library on the floor with Meredith in between us, reading books and trying to find an answer to Katie's seizures.
"Well, she doesn't have anoxia, chronic renal failure or acidosis." Christina says.
"It's not a tumor because her CT's clean." I say looking at the lab report confused.
"Are you seriously not going to tell us why you won't work with Shepherd?" Christina Asks looking over at Meredith.
"No. What about infection?" Meredith says.
"No. There's no white count, she has no ceteal lesions, no fevers, nothing in her spinal tap, just tell us." Christina says.
"Yeah, even I'm getting pretty curious." I say looking over at her.
" You can't comment, make a face, or react in any way. We had sex." Meredith says.
"You had sex with my brother." I shout looking at Meredith.
"Dr. shepherd/Derek is your brother." Christina and Meredith both day at the same time.
"Yeah, he's my older brother. When did you two have sex?" I ask extremely confused.
"Last night. We were drunk." Meredith says, there's a long silence.
"What about an aneurysm?" Christina Asks changing the subject.
"No blood on the CT, and no headaches." Meredith tells her.
"Okay. There's no drug use, uh, no pregnancy, no trauma..." I say before getting interrupted.
"was he good? I mean, he looks like he would be, was it any good?" Christina asks.
"Sister sitting right here." I say in disgust.
"Block your ears." Christina says making me give her a look before I continue to read her chart.
"What are the answers? What if no one comes up with anything?" Meredith Asks dodging the question.
"You mean if she dies because no one can come up with an answer." I say softly.
"Yeah." Meredith says.
