A New Prophecy

 Third Person POV:

The giant wars are finally over. Chiron thought as he glanced out the Big House window, and saw many smiling faces, happy to have lives without fighting and bloodshed again. He was happy for the heroes, all of them. Their world of magic and gods was at peace once again, and yet something unsettled him. What's next? He pondered. There was always a new threat every few months, where heroes went on a quest to save the day. Sooner or later  we will have to send another hero to resolve another conflict of good and evil.

The Big House door slowly creaked open, and in came Rachel Elizabeth Dare, the young host of the Oracle of Delphi. "You wanted to see me Chiron," said Rachel as she shut the ginormous oak door. " Uh... yes I do. I don't mean to take you away from the celebratory festivities, but I must speak with you." Said Chiron, hoping she could answer his questions.

" So... uh what is it, your question that is?"

"Well, I was just wondering if we have another great prophecy on our hands. Another person to send on a quest, another monster to defeat."

" Actually, so far .... no. I've been waiting for one ever since the war ended days ago, but I got nothing."

" Well that's unfortunate, I was really hoping to know something. I've lived for a very long time, and every time there is a new prophecy it worries me. These young heroes grow on me and then I send them out there to possibly die or the chance of eternal glory. It's never easy, no matter how many times I have to do it, but that's the life of a demigod for you." Said Chiron in earnest.

As if on cue, green smoke filled the area and Rachel's eyes turned a mossy green color. Her voice became low and gravelly, as if it didn't belong to her.

A demigod cursed to adore a lover,

an undoing will be caused by loving another

Death shall be their fate,

a chance to live is given, but maybe too late

The gods will allow the plan to form,

new powers and identity will be born

Lightning, water, and death combine,

a hero in service for all time

A Tri-Blood, they will create

the protector of Olympus they await.

Rachel stopped speaking  and caught herself before falling forward onto the ground. Chiron's expression was crazed. " Well, that's it." Said Rachel trying to lighten the mood. "Um.. Thank you Rachel, for that. You can go." Muttered Chiron as he escorted her to the door. The door opened and Rachel walked out, happy to be in the sunshine and a fun environment once again.

What does it all mean? With the past prophecies I've been able to at least understand what will take place, but this. Chiron thought as he sat down to dissect the prophecy in his mind. He had one idea of who it could be, but no, not that boy, and not again.

" A Tri-Blood, what or who is that? Hopefully all of my current students, will be gone before it occurs. They've gone through too much as it is. It will be after their time, I guarantee it. " Said Chiron to himself, desperately wishing he was right. But alas, he would be wrong.

*This is the first part of my fan fiction story. The second part/chapter will be longer. I will try to publish one every week at least. Thank you for reading and I hoped you enjoyed it.*
