Chapter 7: 'Trust'

Another week goes by and Bakugou hasn't been getting any better containing the truth. Kirishima attempts to help him countless of times by covering his mouth for him or rushing him out of the area. It helped from time to time but not all the time. The bakusquad even had to host little meetings to get Bakugou's mouth under control but we should all know how that went. (It went terribly.)

Right now Bakugou was in Kirishima's dorm room having a small break down. It's like he's no longer in control and it's fucking scaring him.

"Bakubro calm down. Just sit down and we'll figure something out." Kirishima says and stared at the blonde sympathetically. Bakugou ran his fingers through his spikey hair and pulled on it. "I can't shitty hair! It's getting worst and I don't know what to do!" Bakugou yells and paced around the dorm. Kirishima tried countless of times calming Bakugou down but he just wasn't having it.

"We'll figure it out, Bakugou." Kirishima says in a hushed tone and got up to comfort Bakugou. "How do you feel right now?"

"I'm pissed; I'm not longer in control of what I say and it's fucking scaring me Kirishima! I have secrets I don't want anyone to know. What if the truth slips out mistakingly?!"

Kirishima sighed and wrapped his arms around Bakugou. "Hey, relax. I'm here to stop that from happening. I've been doing that for the past few days and I'm getting pretty good at knowing when you're about to speak."

Bakugou scoffed. "Fuck that. I want this truth shit to go away!" Kirishima honestly didn't know what to do. He could ask Bakugou if they could tell Mr. Aizawa or at least somebody. Maybe Mr. Aizawa can erase the quirk. Kirishima doesn't really know how his teacher's quirk work but what he does know is that it erases quirks temporarily.

"Maybe we should tell a teacher?" Kirishima suggested quietly. Bakugou pushed himself away from the embrace and stared at Kirishima baffled. "What?"

Kirishima sighed. "We should tell a teacher or at least someone."

Bakugou immediately shook his head no. "Definitely not shitty hair. This is between me, you, and the shitty extras we hang with." He says as he pointed from himself to Kirishima to jabbing his thumb over his shoulder.

Kirishima huffed and plopped his ass on his bed. "Bakugou, I don't know what to do and I think telling Mr. Aizawa would lessen the stress on you."

"No."

"Bakugou," Kirishima whined. "Tell me why you don't wanna tell Mr. Aizawa."

"I don't want people taking advantage over the fact I can't help blurting out the truth."

"Bakugou no one is going to take advantage over this because I'll be around. I'm your fortified wall, man. I got your back."

Bakugou stared at Kirishima worryingly. He was hesitant that's for damn sure, but he trusts Kirishima with all his soul—well, with half of his soul. "C'mon Bakugou," Kirishima says encouragingly and holds out his hand, "You don't always have to fight battles alone." Bakugou crossed his arms and glared at the hand that was reaching out to him. Kirishima remembers Midoriya's words vividly. It made him happy that Bakugou sees him as an equal, a friend.

If his friend calls to him-
"C'mon!"
...
He'll listen.

"Fine." Bakugou mumbled and smacked Kirishima's hand away. Kirishima smiled and got up. "C'mon." Bakugou cocked a brow and gave him a puzzled look. Kirishima then looks at his clock and chuckled nervously. "I forgot it was late."

Bakugou rolled his eyes and went to take his leave. "Are you going to be okay to sleep on your own?" Kirishima asks.

"Don't baby me. I'll be fine." Bakugou murmured and opened the door. Kirishima hummed in response and watched Bakugou leave before he could say good night. Kirishima doesn't know what goes on in Bakugou's head and he won't step on that territory unless Bakugou wanted him to. The relationship he had with the hotheaded boy was fragile and he doesn't want to break it.
