Chapter 11: 'Apologies and Dates'

Time skip
(The next day after school)

Kirishima had his eyes closed, listening to his music. He was extra smiley today and a lot of his classmates took notice of that. He didn't tell them the reason though; just smiled at their assumptions and continued on with his day. The redhead had a whole plan set for their first date. A sunset picnic. He was going to take Bakugou to the movies but he overheard Todoroki asking Midoriya to go to the movies with him. That's a big no no since Bakugou strongly dislikes Todoroki and somewhat tolerated Midoriya nowadays but still despised being near him.

Kirishima looked at his phone and saw it was four o' clock. He pushed himself off his bed and put on his shoes. He had to get the picnic situated before six, which wasn't a lot of time. Kirishima pulled out his earbuds and put his phone in his back pocket. 'Alright, let's do this!' Kirishima sticked his head out, checking both ways to see if Bakugou was near by. He tiptoed out his dorm room and quietly closed the door.

"Kiri?"

Kirishima let out a very unmanly scream and whipped his head around, he saw Mina, Kaminari, and Sero staring at him. Kaminari started cackling. "W-What was that Eijiro?!"

Kirishima quickly looked to Bakugou's dorm and he looked back at his friends to put a finger over his mouth. Kaminari stopped cackling and stared at the him confused. "Are you avoiding Bakugou?" Mina asks, her tone soft.

"No, but what are you guys doing here?" Kirishima whispers and walked towards them.

"We came to apologize to you and Bakugou." Sero answers, scratching the back of his head. Kaminari nodded and moved a little closer to Sero. "And we wanna announce something to the squad." Kaminari mumbled, rocking back and forth. Kirishima and Mina exchanged puzzled looks. The elevator dinged, which caused the group to turn their heads towards the elevator. Bakugou walked out with his phone in hand.

"Oh, he wasn't even in his dorm." Sero blinked.

Bakugou looked up from his phone. He saw all eyes on him. "What the fuck is going on?"

"We wanted to apologize to you face to face!" Mina says as she bows. Sero and Kaminari did the same.

Bakugou smirked deviously. "Apologize louder to me and Kiri and I'll think about forgiving you."

"WE'RE SORRY BAKUGOU AND KIRISHIMA!" The three yells as a unison.

"Wait, kiri?!" Mina quickly looked up at the two. "Did you just call our baby shark Kiri?!" She beamed.

"Worry about that later!" Kaminari says, "I have an announcement to make!"

That caught the attention of the three. Sero smiled like a goofball and a dusty pink danced on his cheeks. Kaminari hugged Sero and gave him a peck on the cheek. "Me and Sero are official!"

Kirishima and Mina just blinked with an expressionless look. "Been knew that." Bakugou deadpanned and walked to his dorm.

"What?!" Sero stared at the blonde in disbelief. Bakugou rolled his eyes, "It was deadass obvious. I also saw you guys making out behind the school yesterday." He opened his door and walked in.

Kirishima decided to slip through their conversation. It was a perfect distraction. He hurried to the elevator and pressed the button to the first floor. 'Okay, I can do this.'
