{2} What?

I see a bright light.

It's quite blurry for a few seconds as I blink while my eyes adjust.

My heads pounding, I lift my right hand and rub my forehead.

My arms ache. I see them covered in bruises and cuts.

I look up to the ceiling to not recognize it as my own. I quickly start to panic not realizing where I am.

I try to sit up but as soon a try to curl up on my own I feel a horrible pain.

I scream slightly just to muffle it so I'm not heard.

I pull down the blankets to see two lines of stitches on either side of my waist above my hips, my left side seemed more red and swollen then my right.

I look around the room trying to calm down.

I quickly turn as an alarming beeping started to go off from the machine attached to me through several wires.

As soon as a nurse in purple scrubs comes in I finally realized where I am; the hospital.

"Oh my god she's awake," Says the pretty nurse as she turns off the beeping from the machine attached from my heart.

She the quickly starts running out of the room.

"Miss! Wait!" I say trying to get her to come back.

But as soon as she was here she was gone.

"God damn it, really? 'Oh welcome back I'm gonna just run away now'" I mumble to myself as the same nurse and a doctor came in.

"Good to see you back with us, Ms.Stone," The tall dark haired doctor says.

He's young, somewhere in his early thirties.

"What the hell happened to me?" I ask as I try to sit up again, I cringe from the pain.

"And what did you do to me?" I ask as I lay back down.

As soon as I lay down again the nurse hands me the remote to my bed and I adjust it so that I'm in an upright position.

"Well Ms.Stone, you got into a quite terrible car accident. While doing so you fractured your ankle and had some, almost fatal, internal bleeding from your right kidney." He says while holding a clipboard, I'm guessing with all my information on it.

"To be completely honest, you are actually very lucky to have this little injury. You easily could've broken your back or even died in that car," he says.

Pffft lucky, yeah right.

"How'd I crash? All I remember is everything going blurry and then to black," I say trying to understand what happened.

He stops for a minute, after a short pause he says,

"It seems that you suffered a seizure, but we're not quite sure what type yet. Do you remember having any symptoms before the crash?" I look down at the IV stuck in my right arm trying to remember.

"Yea, I... I had a migraine, and I was really tired," I say still feeling confused.

"Why do I have stitches?" I ask trying to figure out what's wrong with me.

"Like I said you had internal bleeding so we had to remove the damaged kidney which was on your right," he says while looking at the clipboard to double check.
