What it takes to be a hero

Chapter 1

I'm Aiko Takanashi and ever since I was four I've always wanted to be a hero but some people say that I'm to weak to be a hero I don't have fast reflexes and I'm not a quick thinker. Im 15 years old so that means I can sign up to go to Hero university High it's a high school for teens who want to be a hero I'm to afraid to sign up. I got packed for school and started walking having a debate in my head rather I should go to H.U or not. When I reached their in the front of the school I saw Ryou he is more buff now I can tell he has abs me and Ryou used to be friends in kindergarten but when we were 12 he got so mean he told me he shouldn't be friends with me because my super power is too weak and since his super power is strong it would embarrass him. He's still mean to me but for some reason I still want to be his friend.

I sat in the class 3 seats behind Ryou I was kind of jealous on how strong he was even when he's afraid he never shows it sure he's mean but I've always admired him. I can hear Ryou and his friend talking I can hear Ryou saying that he's joining H.U to be a hero I remembered that last year Ryou said he was going to join H.U "wow Ryou that's going to be dangerous but your going to be the strongest hero" Ryou's friend said encouraging him "Yep I'll be the best hero out their heck I'll even be more strong then Glory Then everyone will beg me for mercy" Ryou said 

" I think your going to be an amazing hero you just need to stop being mean" I said said nervously Ryou turned around and gave me a scary look and you can tell how angry he was "sorry" I blurted I sighed in relief that Ryou didn't scream at me I got lucky the teacher walked 

in and said good morning. The whole time I wasn't even paying attention I was still confused If i should be a hero or not All summer I have been training and I have abs now and a little fast at thinking of ideas but I'm still not good on my reflexes the bell rang and everyone was getting ready for next period I didn't even notice that I was zoning out for that long.

"Mrs. Okami Were can I sign up for Hero University High" I shouted nervously everyone else ignored and walked away but Ryou stayed "oh thats In the principle's office' Mrs. Okami replied I thanked her me and Ryou were the only one's left "H.U really? Ryou asked laughing "you a hero ?" he laughed again with his back faced me then all of a sudden he pushed me to the wall and his left hand on my shoulder squeezed it" listen nerd join H.U if you want honestly I don't care but if you get ahead of me Aiko even just a little bit I'll blast your ass all the way to hell" Ryou said he let go of me then giving a creepy smile and left I can tell that i had a terrified look in his face.

I put in my application for H.U and when I went home I ate dinner and trained harder then even I want to stop being scared of Ryou and I won't let him stop me from my dreams and make me use my super power to my best, my super power is that I can have this blue glowing stick that tases people for the pain only last for 10 seconds and I can only use the taser stick for 5 minutes I can't use it again until 15 minutes oh and It doesn't tase me.

 A weak later and I'm in class and I am still waiting for my response I've been working so hard. I was walking home and relived that school was finally over I was getting inpatient with my letter. I walked inside and locked my door "Aiko your response is here" Mama Takanashi said 

I was speechless nervous and excited at the same time. I  took the letter and opened it sweating . "ᴀɪᴋᴏ ᴛᴀᴋᴀɴᴀꜱʜɪ ᴡᴇ ʟᴏᴏᴋᴇᴅ ᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʀᴇᴄᴏʀᴅ ᴀɴᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀɴ ᴀᴍᴀᴢɪɴɢ ɢʀᴀᴅᴇꜱ ᴀɴᴅ ᴡᴇ ᴄᴀɴ ꜱᴇᴇ ʜᴏᴡ ᴍᴜᴄʜ ʙᴇɪɴɢ ᴀ ʜᴇʀᴏ ᴍᴇᴀɴꜱ ᴛᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ꜱᴏ ᴡᴇ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴏɴɢʀᴀᴛᴜʟᴀᴛᴇ ʏᴏᴜ, ᴡᴇ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴀᴄᴄᴇᴘᴛᴇᴅ ʏᴏᴜ ɪɴᴛᴏ ᴏᴜʀ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴄʜᴏᴏʟ ᴀɴᴅ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ꜰᴏʀɢᴇᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴋᴇᴇᴘ ᴛʀʏɪɴɢ ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜꜱᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴄᴀɴ ʙᴇ ᴀ ʜᴇʀᴏ" I  didn't read the  rest my mom congrats me and was so happy she started to cry "I'll be the best hero I'll save people with a smile on my face" A month later it was the first day of H.U It was a big school made out of glass and Everyone has to wear school uniforms boys had to wear a white shirt  with half sleeves  with a dark green time and black pants girls to but with a skirt " oh great your here" I remembered that voice it was Ryou "oh Ryou you made it here" I asked  'Why the hell are you surprised I'm better than you!" Ryou yelled " no it's not like that I didn't hear you say anything about you getting accepted"  I was shaking "I don't have to tell you anything" Ryou said Anyway I shouldn't let Ryou ruin my first day at H.U.
