What it takes to be a hero

Chapter 6

AIKO POV

It was the day of the tournament I was ready we changed in our gym clothes and hopped on the bus I sat next to Tadashi and Koemi sat next to Ryou  I can feel how awkward it must be for them since they don't talk to each other.

Me and Tadashi talked for a long time  "Hey Aiko wanna help me and Hana come up with nicknames for Ryou"Botan asked Ryou looked at Botan confused "yeah how about angry blondie or grumpy explosive boy" Hana suggested Botan giggled " yeah I really like the second one it fits" Botan said 

"Hey who the hell gave you losers permission to give me a nickname!" Ryou yelled and got up from his seat "see told ya" Botan giggled I chuckled a bit to loud Ryou noticed " why the hell are you laughing I'll kill you" Ryou yelled I can tell Koemi was trying her best to ignore his yelling but Ryou does yell a lot.

Night wolf told us to be quiet for a minute as he reads who we are going to fight for the first round I got Yuta so I have to fight him "oh great"I whispered to my self sarcastically. It's not like I don't like Yuta it's just that I'm to afraid to go after him even with all to one .

  Ryou and Botan got each other Hana and Yui are fighting each other and Tadashi and Koemi are fighting people from a different class I really wasn't paying attention to the rest of the class.

We got their, from the out side It was a big Round stadium we walked in side the entrance was this hallway until we got in the stadium Yuta grabbed my hand "hey can I talk to you let's stay here and wait for the rest to leave" Yuta said I shook my head yes.  We were alone and stood opposite sides from each other it was silence and Yuta still had that dead look in his eyes

"don't think I'll go easy on you because what you said in your last match" Yuta said I shook my head ok, is that really all he wanted to tell me? "but I've also notice that you've been hanging around glory a lot I can tell she's helping you get stronger" Yuta added  

I didn't know what to say and Yuta is kind of scaring me he even sounds so dead inside  "it's nothing" I said with a shaking voice I can tell I was sweating  " can I tell you secret?" Yuta asked "ok what ever it is I won't tell any one" I said.

"I always look after Botan since he's younger than me even tho were twins but we didn't have an easy life my dad didn't get into H.U when he was 15 so he put it on me and my brothers but I'm no hero because of him it's actually because my uncle said I'll make a good hero and Botan's a hero because he always wanted to be but thats not the point.

The point is that my father abused me and my brothers  but not my sister since he promised my mom that he wouldn't but when I was 7 my older brother couldn't take the abuse and ran away he was only 11 I never saw him again I hate my father and  he's showing up today to see me fight so I'll beat you to proof I'm strong

I can't stand my dad honestly he broke apart my family anyway the reason I'm telling you this is because I can tell that you can keep a secret and after I beat battle I'd like to be your friend" Yuta explained you couldn't even tell that he was sad he was said he still had that dead look in his eye and he still sounded ok

"I would like to be your friend to Yuta but your wrong I'll win I'll give you everything I got" I shouted  but not so loud "ok" Yuta said he walked away and I followed thankfully we weren't notice when we joined the class.

"Hey Ryou were versing each other what a surprise" Botan said with a big smile on his face 

"I'll murder you" Ryou said he didn't even look at Botan

Botan chuckled and sat next to Ryou. Botan seems so happy I wouldn't even guess that he had a traumatic childhood but it's good that he's smiling even tho he's not ok that's what a hero would do even in a hard situation they always keep a smile on their face.  

People were fighting and I was analyzing people's skill and pointing out their mistakes. I wonder where Yuta's dad is. It was classes 1F to 1A and it was Kaori's  turn to fight the class was cheering him on " hey do good don't embarrass me so make me proud" Ryou said Kaori smirked I can tell he was surprised that Ryou was cheering him on I'm surprise as well.

Kaori went down to were we fight he was versing another girl from a different class "let me give you an advance I'll tell you what my super power is is that fair?" the girl asked "sure go ahead" Kaori replied "I can turn my whole body into medal it lasts 25 minuets so even if you give me a million punches it wont work only I can deactivate it" the girl said 

But this girl doesn't know Kaori's super power is lava and he can shoot lava from his hands  luckily their was a big screen to see the fight it would be hard to see them without it.

"ha then your easy, don't worry this match will be over in a flash honey" Kaori said confidently "ugh I hope he doesn't get to confident she can be a good fighter and moves quickly who knows" Ryou said "hey don't look down on him he's our friend" Botan replied

"Shut up I'm just being realistic we don't know how good her fighting is and Kaori has a tuff time controlling his power idiot!" Ryou yelled at Botan, Botan didn't say anything but giggle.

Kaori went to attack and she ran straight to him and turned her whole body into medal.  Kaori splashed lava from his hands the girl was fast she quickly dodged and ran towards him before he knew it she punched him the face. 

Kaori kept balance put it was a hard punch. Ryou was right he was getting over confident. "go ahead hit me I'm being nice" she said  kaori smirked "your not ready for this" Kaori shouted and did the same move again .

She punched him again but even harder "this idiot how is he letting her get him that good If that was me I would kill her in a second" Ryou said I can tell in his voice how frustrated he is "damn it now I'm going to be for real" Kaori yelled he was frustrated to.
