Julie's POV
Luke and I grew up together. We were best friends. We then started dating in senior year and haven't stopped since. The boys forced him into proposing to me because they ship us so much! Because we were in love, I said yes. Now, tomorrow is our wedding day.
"Hey babe" Luke walked into our room "Whatcha doing?"
"Just thinking" I smiled.
"Can I be completely honest with you?" he took a deep breath.
"Sure. Always" I nodded.
"Idontwanttomarryyou" he confessed.
"Me neither" I laughed.
"What?" He looked confused.
"I like us more as friends too. I think we fell out of love a while ago" I smiled.
"Yeah... Thanks for understanding" he got up "I gotta go cancel this wedding now"
"Friends?" I asked.
"Always" he nodded and walked out of the room.
I lay down on the bed as a tear rolled down my cheek. I guess this is what you have to do when you love someone. You always have to let them go for them to be happy. Happier than they were with you. Someone who can provide them with better and more.
But... I guess if I was 100% honest with myself... I think I was falling out of love too.
