The rest of the friends follow him to the village on their new pets. Techno smiles as he looks at the town's people. "hellooo!" he says, trying to greet someone. His greeting is not met with a just as friendly greeting though. Actually, he's not met with any response as the town falls completely silent. "..hello?" he says again, looking at the town's people. In just a moment everyone is back inside their homes.

"that's a bit odd." schlatt says, then continuing. "they want to ignore us? Like hell they'll ignore Latter Man." Schlatt says, then stubbornly walking up to one of the door and knocking on it. He hears whispering from inside the house. "heeey! Big schlatt's outside your door, bitches! don't ignore me." The clouds block the sun and a thick fog drapes over the village like a blanket.

The rest of the group walk over to where they saw schlatt and realize he's not there. "What the.. Schlatt? Schlatt where are you!" Wilbur says, concern and confusion in his voice. There is no response from their friend, only the chill breeze and the quiet whispers of the town is heard.

"This doesn't seem good." Techno says, putting his hand out in the fog, realizing that he can only see arms length away. "this is really bad.." he comments. Dream smiles. "not as bad as you think, I can see through this." He says, the fog being much less dense for him.

"That doesn't matter much, do you see Schlatt?" Techno says, already knowing the answer as he sees Dream's smile fade. "No?" He ask. "No.. nothing of him" Dream answers, looking down.

schlatt's POV:

I look around the basement I've been fucking locked in. These bastards.. Where even are my friends? There's no way I die like this. I don't want to die like this. fuck, I can't keep thinking like that. That's what'll get me killed. I walk up to the trapdoor I was tossed down into and try to open it, with no luck. "LET ME OUT OF HERE, YOU CUNTS!" I shout, banging on the trapdoor.

"This is why we don't like your kind. Loud and aggressive, we won't allow you players to tear down our lives." I hear a guy say. His sentence and tone to match sends chills down my spine. Players? our kind?Does he know we're not from this world? What is going on, I need to tell my friends what he said. I walk around the mostly empty basement.

Once I get my hands on those bastards, I'm gonna tear them a new ass. I see a loose brick. maybe this place has a secret exit? I run at the brick wall and slam my body into it, nudging the bricks. "fuuuuck!" I shout, letting myself fall backwards. that hurt. I stand up then gently push a brick, it slipping backwards into the wall.

A secret door opens, which is across the room. "oh, I guess that works" I say out loud, then walking to the room. A wine cellar? I don't mind if I do. I'm sure the bros back home would appreciate me bringing this home. I pick up three bottles and put them in the sling I'd usually use for my crossbow. I then grab a forth and begin to drink from it. oh hell yeah, this is good wine.

Dream's POV:

I walk through the fog, looking for my lost friend. I suddenly feel someone tug at my arm, when I turn around there's a town's person. "wh-who are you." I push them away and grab an arrow from my quiver. "you'd dare harm me?" they say. he.. or she? they? I couldn't tell what this person was. there didn't seem to be feminine or masculine features in their face and their clothing didn't give anything away.

"d-dare harm you? I'm scared, you just come up behind me and grab me. You need to take a step back" I point my arrow out at them, my hand slightly shaking. "dream? are you alright out there?" Techno ask, not able to see me, but able to hear what's happening. I go to speak, but nothing comes out.

I try and yell, but my words catch in my throat. I panic and make a sprint to my friends, but am grabbed by multiple hands, dragging me backwards. I try to turn around to see them, but it's pitch black. The fog seems so thick, blinding me unlike before. I start to feel ungodly nauseous.

I close my eyes, when I go and open them I'm not outside, but in a basement. "huh? who's there?" I hear a schlatt say, giving off he's drunk with just his voice. He's walking out of a room with a  bottle of wine in his hand. "this is not the time to get drunk, you idiot!" I scold, though walking over and hugging him. I'm glad he's alright.

"But it's always a time to get drunnk! Cmon, it's good wine and we're not getting out any time soon!" Schlatt responds, lightly hugging dream back before pushing him away. "Not getting out of here? What do you mean?" Dream ask, concern lacing his voice.

Schlatt puts the bottle down, hiccuping. "I've tried to get out.. the only other door lead to that wine cellar and the trapdoor out is locked. Plus, I don't have my weapons." Schlatt explains, seeming actually pretty sober. "Oh.. well, there has to be a way. No way there's not." Dream says, using a determined tone.

schlatt seems not motivated by this, but amused by it. "TheRE hAs to bE a wAy! What are you? A fuckin' anime protagonist?" He teases playfully, taking a sip of his wine. Dream rolls his eyes in response. "You're annoying and unmotivating. Once I get out, I'm leaving you" Dream says, flipping schlatt off then walking around the basement as he looks for escape routes.

Wilbur holds techno's hand tightly, worried that they might lose each other. "As long as we're in sight of each other we're fine, no need to hold hands." Techno says with a chuckle. "But what if we accidentally separate since we don't know if we're close to each other or not, I'm not trying to be alone out here." Wilbur says, walking around aimlessly in the fog with techno, almost tripping over his feet.

Techno nods and continues to walk around, eventually getting to a house. Techno knocks before swinging the door and walking in. the fog doesn't follow them in luckily. "What are you doing in here?! Get out! We don't like your kind, leave!"
