Chapter 18: this is why we inform others, dumbass.

Eret and techno soon arrive at the cabin. Techno leads eret to the door, then walking back to the stable and putting his horse in its assigned spot. Eret walks into the house, seeing Tommy tied up on the couch, fast asleep. Techno tiredly walks past, going to his room.

Eret walks over to Tommy, patting his head. "Tommy, Tommy wake up." He whispered. Tommy slowly stirs awake, looking up at eret. Eret may see a friend, but tommy sees a quite glorious opportunity. "Why are you tied up?" Eret ask, confused.

"what do y- ugh.. must've been Quackity and George. I pranked them earlier.. and this is them getting me back. Could ya untie me, eret?" He lies, but why wouldn't he. This is the perfect opportunity to escape without even having to use force.

Eret nods and unties the ropes. Tommy sits up. "What room are you staying in?" Tommy ask, trying to keep up a friendly act. Eret chuckles. "I wasn't assigned a room yet." He answers, looking in the direction techno went. "Oh, I guess you're sleeping out here then. My room is with tubbo, he's my best friend after all." Tommy chimes with a smile.

Eret nods. He lays down on the couch as Tommy walks away in the direction of the rooms. Once Tommy was sure Eret was asleep he left the house, taking tubbo's wolf as a steed. "I know you'll miss him.. but I need some help, bud." He said to the wolf, hopping on its back. The wolf takes off in the direction requested of Tommy.

The next day Eret is suddenly awaken by being harshly shaken awake. "H-huh? What? Wh-what's going on? D-Did something happen?" He stammered out as he sat up quickly, looking around at everyone's distraught expression. His eyes fell on dream's harsh glare. "wh-what?.." he asked again.

"Where the hell is Tommy?.." Dream accused. He definitely expected a solid answer. Eret looked up at Dream confused. "What do you mean? He headed to bed after I untied the little prank.. he said.. Quackity and.. George played on him. Yeah, it was them. He wanted to go to bed in his room with tubbo, so I untied him." He says, tapping his foot.

"Are you serious?!" He hears George shout. "Do you know what you've fucking done?!" Dream adds. Eret sinks back into the couch. "..d-dream, dude, what do you mean?" He wasn't informed of anything at all. What was so wrong with untying Tommy? "Y-you guys aren't really that upset over me untying Tommy of a prank, right?" He looks around at everyone's expressions.

"Can't you see, there wasn't a prank!" Tubbo cries, tears forming in his eyes. He points to Quackity's bandaged shoulder, then to George's wing, and to Wilbur. "He was tied for a reason! You letting him escape was the worst thing you could've done." He stomps his foot in frustration.

"He tried to kill us, you fucking idiot!" Dream shouts, pulling Eret up by his collar. He drew his hand back quickly. Eret closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, bracing for a punch.

He didn't realize he was bracing for a punch that would never come until he finally opened his white eyes. He saw techno holding dream's arm in place. "It isn't his fault.. he only knew Tommy as a friend because he didn't have anything explained to him. It's my fault." Techno explains, taking the blame for eret's wrong actions. Dream sets Eret down, looking back at techno.

"If you start lecturing me, dream I swear, I will fight you." Techno says with a glare. Dream takes a deep breath before walking away and out of the door, letting in the cool air of the outside. "Can we eat?.. we can get a group to search for Tommy afterwards." George suggest.

Sapnap walked to the kitchen pretty much storage unit at one side of the living room and grabbed some food that had been frozen. He blew fire onto it and warmed up the food. He put each meal in clay bowls, then handing it out. The food was alright, this batch didn't have much seasoning since they only got extra herbs in the house the day before. "So.. who should go?"
