Louis's POV

That night was more peaceful than the previous and dinner was quiet and nice.

"Thank you, Anne, it was amazing," Tristain said standing up and stretching.

"Of course honey," She said smiling, "Glad you enjoyed it."

"Yes, it was delicious!" I agree standing up as well and taking the plates from Anne's hand, "If you don't mind, you're going to have to share the cranberry sauce with my mom. She would love it."

"I would love to get in touch with her," Anne said looking delighted.

"We'll finish up the kitchen mom," Harry said taking the last gup of his apple cider and clearing Gemma and Tristain's dishes as well. "You've been working all day it's the least I can do."

"Good." Gemma said, "And since Harry is such a mama's boy I won't have to do anything at all!" She cheers and she and Tristain disappear upstairs.

"Typical," Harry mutters as I follow him into the kitchen.

"Hey cheer up!" I said taking the stack of dishes to the sink, "This could be fun."

"I guess your right." Harry says thoughtfully, "Anything with you is fun."

While he started scrubbing the plates and bowls in hot, soapy water I went back and forth from the kitchen and the dining room.

"You know something?" Harry asked from the sink.

"What's that?" I say walking up to where he's standing and wrapping my arms around his thin waist.

"When I was younger and had to do the dishes, I would pretend to play house. It made the job more fun."

"Funny." I say pressing my lips to his neck as he continued to scrub plates, "I did something like that as well, except with yard work. I would pretend to be Mr. McGregor and every time I saw a rabbit in our vegetable garden I would chase it around with my little shovel."

"So, you save frogs in biology class, yet when you were younger you chased poor wild rabbits around with a shovel. Sounds like someone had some character development." He laughs.

"How did you know I was the kid to save the frogs during science class?" I asked frowning.

"You told me, the first day of work you said you didn't know the story of the Great Gatsby, which you should that's a classic because you were too busy saving frogs in biology."

"H-how do you remember that?" I asked amazed. That was one of the first times Harry really spoke to me and I mentally cringed at my past attempt to flirt. Really Louis? Charm your hot new co-worker by telling him you saved frogs?

"I remember everything about you when you first came to work at the coffee house. I watched you."

Part of me wants to make a joke like, "Well that's a bit creepy Harold," But I don't because I watched him too.

"What did you watch me do?" I ask genuinely interested.

"I saw you sneakily taking all those photos of me when you thought I wasn't looking. I didn't do anything about it because...well, I liked the fact that you thought I was worthy enough of your time to photograph. I remember all the times you slid a chair in for me so I would trip over it while carrying something because you knew I was clumsy. I saw it all."

My Hazza, he had seen. All of my small attempt to show him I cared even so early on. "I really liked you," I said smiling at him. It was so cute that he remembered all of our shy interactions.
