Army Camp
Co. Phillips was in his tent with other soldiers and Peggy, who watched Alexandria play some games with a soldier outside the tent. "Senator Brandt, I regret to report that Captain Steven G. Rogers went missing behind enemy lines on the third. Aerial reconnaissance has proven unfruitful. As a result, I must declare Captain Rogers killed in action. Period," Phillips said as someone typed up what he was saying.
"The last surveillance flight is back. No sign of activity," Peggy said, giving him the report.
"I can't touch Stark. He's rich and he's the Army's number one weapons contractor. You are neither one," Phillips said.
"With respect, sir, I don't regret my actions. And I don't think Captain Rogers did either. He did it all for her," Peggy said before looking back at Alexandria, who was laughing at something goofy the soldier did.
"I took a chance with you, Agent Carter. And now America's golden boy and a lot of other good men are dead, cause you had a crush. Where does that put Ms. Rodgers at now? Just a damn orphan," Phillips said.
"I had faith," Peggy said.
"Well, I hope that's a big comfort to you when they shut this division down," Phillips said, but then a bunch of soldiers started to run off and talk excitedly. "What the hell's going on out there?"
Then Alexandria ran into the tent with a huge smile. "He came back," she said before she ran off again, following the soldiers.
"Ale-" Peggy started to say before she followed the girl.
A crowd gathered around at the edge of the camp where Steve was arriving with the other freed prisoners. Amongst the crowd, was Alexandria.
Once she saw her father and uncle, she smiled huge as she shivered in happiness. "Daddy!" she exclaimed before she ran up to her father, who quickly picked her up, holding her close to him, feeling the comfort of his child who he had been desperately missing.
"I'm so sorry," Steve muttered in his daughter's ear.
"It's okay. I stayed with Mama Peggy," Alexandria said, referring to Peggy. Steve smiled to himself as he realized that the girl he fancied had become so close to his daughter that she is now calling her mama.
"Mama?" Bucky asked. Alexandria looked next to her and her eyes lit up.
"Uncle Bucky!" she exclaimed before she reached over to him and Bucky held her.
"I told you I'd be okay, kid," Bucky said and Alexandria stifled a laugh.
"Shut up, you jerk," she said and Bucky laughed. Then Phillips approached them from the crowd and Alexandria pulled herself to Bucky's hip, and he continued to hold her.
"I'd like to surrender myself for disciplinary action," Steve said.
"That won't be necessary," Phillips said.
"Yes, sir," Steve said then Phillips turned and walked away, past Peggy.
"Faith, huh?" He asked then Peggy fully approached Steve.
"You're late," she said then Steve held up the broken transponder.
"Couldn't call my ride," Steve said.
"Hey! Let's hear it for Captain America," Bucky said then they all cheered as Steve smiled.
Allied HQ
LondonSteve and Peggy, plus Alexandria, all stared at a series of maps. "The fifth one was here in Poland, right near the Baltic," Steve said then he marked it on a map. "And the sixth one was...about here, 30, 40 miles west of the Maginot Line." Then they walked over to Phillips and another map. "These are the weapon factories we know about. Sergeant Barnes said that Hydra shipped all the parts to another facility that isn't on this map."
