"Alright class, everyone stretch and then we'll start practicing knife to knife combat," Mr. Karasuma said with a firm voice. I saw Kurahashi drool a bit at his words. Does she seriously have a crush on our teacher?

"Say, Rini, do you want to partner up for gym?" Rio said, looking over at me. I felt a light blush on my cheeks before I snapped out of this silly trance.

"Yeah, sure! But don't you normally practice with Fuwa?" I questioned, already suspecting a certain red haired boy to be behind this.

"Karma said something about wanting to partner up with Fuwa, I'm not sure why though," she sighed while stretching her arms. "Still, you're pretty good at this, so don't beat me up too much."

My gaze immediately diverted to Karma, who looked back and gave me a shit eating grin. He has no chill.

As we finished stretching, I picked up one of the rubber knives we use. I took a hair elastic and tied the front part of my hair into a ponytail to keep my curtain bangs out of the way.  I looked down at my knife, clutching it hard. Here goes nothing.

I swung my knife directly in her face, catching her off guard. She smirked at me and dodged my swipe, before she attempted to place her knife on my arm.

"So predictable~" I teased. In all honesty, my fighting skill was above average, but I little insult could go a long way.

Rio gripped her knife harder and ducked down, faking out a dodge as I swung my knife lower down to catch her. Then, like a weasel, she popped up and hit my knife off my hand.

"You say I'm a predictable, but at-least I have the upper hand," she panted.

"In your dreams!"

I dove down and over to the area where my knife laid, quickly lifting it up. Before I could bounce to my feet, I felt a presence above me. I felt my face heat up when I realized she was hovering above me, with her knife in hand.

We both attempted to catch our breath as she stayed in that position above me. It felt like the moment lasted for hours, with her hot breath gently hitting me.

"I-"

"I win!" she beamed. "I never thought I would actually beat you!"

"Uh- c-congrats!" I weakly smiled as I tried to recover from the position I was in. I put my hand to my chest as I breathed in and out, begging my face to return to normal.

Gym went on for another 40 minutes, and more often then not her and I were closer than normal. Is this heaven?

Gym was our last period of the day, so I began to pack up my bag preparing to leave. I noticed Rio was in the bathroom, so I walked over to Karma, who was standing alone.

"How are you so good at this!" I groaned, slumping my shoulders. "I should be happy, but now I'm just pissed off that you're gonna win this."

"There's still time in the day to set me up, and knowing you, you probably have some crazy plan," he grinned.

"Well this creative brain is on vacation right now, thanks to gym class with Rio," I sighed. The only part before going home was actually walking there. That meant there wasn't much time left to plan something. No.. this is perfect! I suddenly realized such an obvious option. I could get the two to walk home together! They lived close, about five minutes away from each other, so it wouldn't be a problem. I looked up at Karma before grinning as I thought of my plan.

"You're walking home with Rio!"

"Wow, your brain actually worked!" He sarcastically gasped, dramatically putting his hands to his face.

He's asking for it.

I lifted my hand in a non-threatening way before slapping him on the cheek. He rolled his eyes in a playful way as a response.

"Ok, Rio's coming back from the bathroom soon. I'll tell her that you're walking the same way as her, so you can keep her company," I said. He tilted his head with his eyebrow raised.

"Isn't that obvious?"
