Today is Thursday at 9:30am, I am in the cafe waiting for my order to be called. Today was a slowly day, their was less people in the cafe and judging by the workers face expression they look lifeless.. and bored.

It's been a week sense I haven't seen Nathan, I hope he's alright-...
God what am I saying? I shouldn't be worried about him, he's the one who left me for some waitress at a restaurant. Just the thought of his smug face makes me wanna hit a wall..
But than again...
it's odd he disappeared so suddenly.
"Order for [name]!"
I look up to meet eyes with a different cashier. She had blue eyes and amber yellow hair, it was tied in a lose ponytail with a few baby hair sticking out.
"Thank you.." I said as I grabbed the drink I ordered.
"My pleaser, have a good day ma-"
"Umm excuse me, I have a question.." I said as I interrupted her.
"What is it?" She said.
"Umm.. are you familiar with the name Nathan? Nathan Harper?"
"Yes? What about him?"
"He hasn't shown up to work for a while, I just wanted to know if he's on vacation or something came up."
"Oh! Now that you mentioned it I haven't seen him in a while, we tried calling him but he wouldn't respond. I'm sure he'll turn up some day.." she said with a slightly worried face expression.
In all honesty it seems a little suspicious he hasn't responded. Did something bad happen?

I than sigh in hopelessness sense my question about his whereabouts remain unknown. I smiled and thanked her for her answer, even though it wasn't helpful.
I left the cafe and went straight to my college campus, hoping I would make it on time.

-30 minutes-

I was in the classroom waiting for the college professor to come in sense most of the time he comes in when the class is full with other students.
I placed my messenger bag on the side of my chair and took out my notebooks and pencil in order to prepare myself for when class starts.
Time went by slower than it usually does, the minutes feels like hours and seconds feel like minutes, probably doesn't make sense but that's just how bored I was...
So to make time speed up for a bit I decided to doodle my notebook, just on the top corner of it that's all.
It started of as the basic things, like flowers or stars..
But their was one thing that kept coming in my head, like a pop up add that keeps on going continuously... than it came on..
I couldn't stop thinking about Toby and his big soft honey brown eyes, how bright yet dark and mysterious they were.
So adorable..
So attractive...
He's wonderful...
I can feel my eyes start to soften and my heart starting to warm up. I didn't know the thought of him had so much of a affect on me.
"Cuuuuuuuuuuttee who's eyes are those? Or are they just for fun?"
I was startled by the sound of someone's voice I shrieked. It was Gabriella, of course it was. She always does that, she always appear out of know were
Like she's some ninja who moves with the shadows. I immediately close my notebook so she wouldn't take another glance of any parts of my doodles.
"Don't scare me like that you almost gave me a heart attack!" I cried.
"Sorry I couldn't help it, I just had to scare you. You look so focus on something I just had to." Gabriella said as she slightly giggled.
I groan in annoyance and embarrassment.
"So are you gonna tell me who's eyes are those?" Gabriella asked while tilting her head.
I thought to myself 'if I tell her they were Toby's she'll just make fun and taunt me like some kindergartener' so I said "they're no one, it's just for fun."
She look surprised for a bit, till she squinted at my face and looked delicately at my features.
"HA! LIES--" she screamed.
"NO NOT LIES THEY WERE JUST A DOODLE!" I shouted in defense.
"Mhmmmm every time you lie you always avoid eye contact. You know I'm right"

Shit.. does she know me that well?
"Yea.. you're right." I said.
"Why don't you take him on a date?" Gabriella asked.
"Hmmmmm🧐I👁don't🚫know 🤷‍♀️maybe💫the🧚‍♂️fact 🎉i☺️was🌱on🍄a🌈date👫till you🥰interrupted✨" I replied in sarcasm.
"Ohhhh.. I'm so sorry" she said while rubbing the back of her neck. "You can at least try and take him to a better one, maybe one that isn't so casual." Gabriella said.
Maybe she's right, maybe I can perfect this date. But how?
"I'll think about it.."

A/N: ..so.. good news I'm not dead :D
I'm so sorry I haven't been active lately things just been busy, and I mean very busy. So this chapter may be short but this is a once in a life time chapter book but you have an option of how you want the second date to go.
