There is a Lord who loves His wife
More dearly than His life
Even though she curses Him
And enjoys the things so grim
He gives her blessings and gifts
But still she pivots and drifts
He died for her and lived again
But she left Him in the rain
He never opted for divorce
But she did, of course
Who is this Man of love so big?
Who is this Lord Who kept His ring?
It is Jesus, Lord and Savior
Who cherished His bride and saved her
She continues, though, to sin and sin
But still, He devoutly loves her herein
