3rd Person's POV ~
"What do you want me to say ?"
"Anything." "
"I'll just end up rambling."
"Don't care. It's cute to listen to."
"I'm not alone." She whispers into the call. "And now I look like a tomato."
"Oh, so no different than usual ?" He teases.
"Shut up." She groans.
"Is he coming ?" Jisoo asks. "Because Jin said he would pick us up. He's closer."
"Oh..." Lisa covers the speaker of her phone. "Jungkook already said yes." '
"I'll just go with Jin." Jisoo shrugs. "You can go with him."
"Okay." Lisa nods, putting the phone back to her ear.
"How far are you ?"
"Hang in there, I'm pretty close."
"No, take your time. I was just trying to start to conversation."
"Told you." He says with pride injected heavily into his voice.
"What ?"
"You're cute to listen to."
"At this rate I'll get admitted to the hospital." She mutters, touching her cheek. "A human shouldn't be able to transfigure to a tomato."
"You've got the mind of one."
She grins, fiddling with the sweatshirt she had on. "I miss you." She said quietly, inching away from Jisoo to say it clearly.
"What ?" He laughs. "You saw me a couple hours ago."
"I don't know why," She grins. "But I do. I guess we just haven't been alone in a long time."
"Lisa, lets wait outside." Jisoo says. Lisa nods and lifts herself up, walking outside with her and perching herself on one end of the bench.
"Did you manage to beat me ?"
"At Donkey Kong ?" She sighs. "You know the answer to that. Your score trumped mine."
"Dummy." He grins. "I told you I'm better."
"I've now lost 2 bets in 1 hour."
"Pure talent, I say."
"Soft Boy, I will maim you."
"Try. Maybe you'll lose at that too."
A car rolled up to the curb, and the windows slid down, revealing Jin's chiseled face. "Chu ?" He asks. She looks up from her phone and takes Lisa's hand walking to the car.
"No, I'm going with Jungkook." She insists.
"Lisa, it's shady around these parts of town." Jin says. "It's evening now, too."
"I'll be fine." Lisa waves off. "I can fight for myself."
"Okay..." Jin says hesitantly. Jisoo pats her shoulder, hopping in his car and looking at her once again.
"You sure you don't want to come ?"
"I'm sure." She smiles, sitting back down on the bench and pressing the phone to her ear. "Oh my god, everything hurts."
"How ?" He chuckles from the opposite end.
"Whack a Mole gone wrong." She winces.
"Oh, I made the right choice dating you." He sobers up from laughing an inordinate amount. "There's never a boring phone call."
She smiles softly, chuckling along to all the jibes he threw at her inability to hit a plastic toy but her precision in punching him.
Eventually, his car pulls up to the curb too, and she grins, opening the door and closing it with nearly no sound. She slips her seatbelt on and he pauses waiting. "What ? Is there something on my face ?"
"No, no, you just look nice today." He grins, turning back to the steering wheel.
"Does that mean I don't look good on other days ?" She smiles.
"Horrible." He shivers, laughing along with her. "It's a wonder I don't get nightmares."
"Maybe it's because of that absolute angel Tzuyu. Maybe she keeps the bed bugs away." She chuckles at the disdain on his face.
"Please, she is the bed bug." He says, rolling his eyes.
In the midst of his irritation, he'd spotted something in his rearview mirror. Or rather someone. Suho stared determinedly at the two of them, his hands clenched around the steering wheel as he tails strongly behind them.
"You noticed him too ?" Lisa asks. "I saw him in the arcade."
"He was following you ?"
"I don't know. It didn't bother me much, though. I always had someone next to me."
"What do you think his intentions are ?" Jungkook asks.
"Don't care. But for what I've noticed, maybe he's after Jennie. He's never teased her as much, and Jennie was around me the most."
"Right." Jungkook smiles.
They stopped as the lights on the road switched promptly to red, traffic piling up by the second. There seemed to be road work ahead as several cement trucks rolled around, swerving between cars. Jungkook looked back in the rearview mirror. Suho was still staring angrily at them.
She's mine. Suho mouths.
He smiles a cocky smile, raising an eyebrow before his hand travels to the back of her head, his face tilted when their lips meet. Her eyes were closed serenely despite the randomness of the situation, but his were slightly open, staring right at the angry boy behind them. Suho's knuckles were white hot from gripping the wheel too tight, and he'd lurched forward by accident, his eyes showing no regret.
Jungkook pulls away, calmly turning back to the steering wheel just in time, his foot pressing down on the accelerator pedal just enough to get the car back in a smooth start. Lisa was the only one out of the three left in the dark of the situation, still touching her lips.
"What was that for ?"
"I'm petty." He grins, not looking at her.
"What reason would you have to be petty ?"
"Oh, nothing much." He drawls casually. "Except for the fact that Suho has a crush on you."
