As soon as the elevator opened to the 23trd floor of the skyscraper, the most wonderful scent reached the Light Goddess's nose and she felt her power bubble happily under her skin. Beside her, her best friend, Nuri the angel, watched warily for any threats. The truth of it was that so long as she didn't have a mate, nothing could harm her. Her power was too great for any single creature to challenge, seeing as the Dark Goddess had not reincarnated since her indirect assassination.

Just like any other werewolf pack, the Domina's right hand was a Beta and he was there to greet her. The male gave her huge white-tiger a wary glance before bowing deeply.

"Goddess," the male said as he straightened up, "it is my pleasure to take you to the Domina's office where everyone had gathered."

She smiled, it was a somewhat threatening gesture as it exposed her lethal teeth, but the male stood stunned for a second by her godly radiance before he turned and led her through the office space. The closer they got, the stronger that wonderful scent of pine and winter-crisp air became and she felt herself glow with her magic's untameable excitement. Her magic hadn't been this out-of-control since she was a fledgling and she now put a damper on it as much as possible.

The door was opened by the beta male to reveal a room full of werewolves who kneeled in respect, the Domina included, but Lucienne's eyes were only drawn to the gorgeous black-haired female standing in front of her. The female's eyes were glowing silver, and Lucienne felt her magic pour out of her making the gold markings on her skin glow brightly. She instantly knew who the female was to her.

Pure joy at finally finding her power-bound soared through her and she couldn't help the bright and genuine smile on her face. Their eyes met and Lucienne felt the forming of their eternal bond as the dark-haired female transformed into her Goddess form, the bond felt like a warm glowing thread between the two. What a wonderful power shapeshifting is, Lucienne noted to herself.

She took a step forward, captivated by those swirling silver eyes. "Dark One," she whispered lightly. Suddenly she was all too aware of the extreme panic in the other female as it pulsed down their power-bond and became evident in the small female's frame when she began to shake. Lucienne ignored the startled actions of the others in the room and stepped forward again as those silver eyes shut. Dark shadows began to swirl around the room concentrated around the female and Lucienne took the last step towards her, her hand reaching out to touch the female. This was certainly not how she had imagined meeting her power-bound would be, but the girl's panic was already making her react with a need to calm and comfort.

Just as her hand touched the female's face the tiniest bit, the new Goddess disappeared into thin air. As light as the contact had been, it was enough for Lucienne to know that the female was more to her than power-bound. The new Goddess was her mate.

A whole new level of her animalistic instincts kicked in with that piece of knowledge and her power rose up to destroy everything in her path until she could find her extremely distressed mate. The need to care for, comfort, hold, and protect the female became her first and only priority at that moment. The fact that they were the first mated pair of goddesses since the pair that came down from the heavens was not lost on her either but she had other things to worry about.

"Where is she?" she asked, doing her best to not yell as the panic through their power-bond flared higher. She didn't know why, she didn't care why, all she cared about was that her power-bound, her newfound mate, was in pain and she needed to comfort the female.

"Where is she?!" she growled as no one in the room answered her. A flushed and oddly light-colored female werewolf stepped forward, pulling the Domina with her. By the scent coming off the two of them, she knew they were mates and in heat but she didn't have time to care.
