Ciara woke the next morning feeling completely exhausted. She was warm and comfy wherever she was but her body felt like it had been beaten to a pulp and her head was pounding.

What she had originally thought to be a pillow, moved upwards slightly and she realized that her head was tucked into someone's shoulder.

With a jolt, she sat up before remembering the past day's events. An arm had been thrown over her and she immediately removed herself from Lucienne's embrace before looking around. Beside her, a fully awake Lucienne was watching her and something about those odd, glowing white eyes made her uncomfortable so she looked away.

She remembered that she had panicked when Lucienne arrived, for some reason unknown to her, and she had somehow teleported away to her room where she had promptly thrown her guts up before passing out. That explained the soreness in her body and her headache. She had then woken up at what appeared to be the middle of the night from another of her frequent nightmares in an unfamiliar room. Someone, who she now knew to be Lucienne, had entered her room and that soon after the nightmare she hadn't been quite able to differentiate the present from the past. After some weird pull-like feeling she let herself be comforted by the curly-haired female before taking a shower and throwing on a pair of silky nightclothes with matching, surprisingly soft, socks.

Then she had been unable to sleep and something in her made her get up and ask Lucienne, whom she had just met, to sleep next to her and she had let the female hold her the whole night. That explained her current surroundings.

The thought made her uncomfortable.

Pushing her thoughts away like always and ignoring the feeling of Lucienne's eyes on her, she surveyed the room. It was blindingly white with gold decorations and beautiful sunlight peered in through the sheer curtains that hid the outside world. The thick and soft sheets were also white but had exquisite gold embroidery on their surface. Overall the white-and-gold room was lavish and beautiful and somewhat overwhelming.

"Good morning," the female- that she was desperately trying to ignore- said.

"Morning," she replied, hoping that could be the end of the conversation for the meantime. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

"Are you hungry?" Lucienne asked and Ciara turned her head towards the female. That's what she wanted to ask first?

Ciara shook her head. She hadn't been eating much as of late and, while she could feel some underlying hunger in her stomach, she was used to ignoring it completely and the thought of eating food made her want to throw up once more.

The Goddess beside her hummed and sat up, stretching her arms out. Ciara noted the beautiful golden swirls on the female's skin and her gaze was drawn to the sharp canines in the female's mouth as she yawned.

Exhaustion hit her once more and she felt like there was a slab of concrete on her chest. She wanted to head back to the other room but didn't have the energy so she laid down again and pulled the sheets over her. Her heightened senses picked up on the other Goddess's scent on the bed as she laid down and she was strangely comforted by the slightly ashy scent mixed with sweet herbs. It was an odd scent, she thought, but then again everyone smelled differently.

"Little One?" she heard Lucienne ask with concern in her voice. A shadow crossed over her face and she opened one eye to look at the Goddess who was bending over her. She groaned in annoyance at the female since she wanted to sleep, before burying her face in the sinfully plush pillow.

The gold-haired female pulled back and fussed over the blankets atop her for a moment. Ciara let her do so, despite thinking the behavior was odd, and relished in the warm comforting feeling the action produced within her.
