Chapter Twenty-Six

You felt your phone jitter as it went off.

You picked up noticing it was Mrs. Iida,

"I notified Tenya already, but Tensei he would want you and your brother here."
"What happened?"

You asked, fear bubbling inside of you, the two kids watching as you voice shook.

"Tensei, he was attacked.""I'll be right over."

Grabbing your brother and Yuki you looked at them, "we need to leave now." The kids nodded as you followed your red string to Tenya, watching as he told Uraraka and Izuku about what happened, "(Y/n), Raburi, Yuki! We need to go." You nodded getting into the car with Tenya as you broke the news to the kids about what happened.

"Who?" Raburi asked, you could feel his anger seep through everywhere, "we don't know, we won't know until he wakes up." Tenya admitted as you grabbed his hand, the car ride was silent, everyone feeling angry about the situation.

The angriest was Tenya, thinking about who it was who tried to kill his brother, Raburi tapped his feet on the cars floor boards, Yuki looked at the three of you, watching as you kept a calm face, a calm face but she knew it held anger in it, you just tried not to explode with it.

Getting to the hospital the four of you rushed into the room, seeing Tensei wave to you four, "can I have a moment alone with Tenya and Raburi?" You nodded as the rest of you stepped out, Yuki looked at you, "are you mad?" "Beyond mad." You responded as you got her a water, "you seem so calm." "I can't be the one exploding, Tenya and Raburi love him a lot, I can't be too mad for their sake." You admitted as she opened the bottle, Mrs. Iida and Mr. Iida watching you, "(Y/n) is it okay if you stay here for a while, my husband needs to take care of a few things with the police and I want to grab Tensei his things?" You hummed, "yeah, I don't mind, I should call Yuki a cab back." "I can take her."

You nodded, patting her head gently, "I'll be taking Raburi out of school for a while okay?" She nodded, "yeah, I'll tell everyone a family emergency came up." You smiled, "thanks Yuki." She nodded, walking away with the woman as you waited by the door, when Raburi opened it, "hey." He said his eyes swelled.

"Hey." You asked as you walked in, watching Tenya cry while Raburi looked like he wanted to melt into the chair, Tensei smiled at you, "thanks for letting me have time with your brother." You nodded a no, "I'm going to pull him out for a week, I think it would be a bummer without your little buddy huh?" He smiled at you, "thanks (Y/n)."

You grabbed Tenya's hand, "I'm going to borrow you okay?" He nodded, wiping his tears only for more to come as you two stood out in an empty hallways.

"I know you're angry and sad, and I know what you're planning." He watched you, expecting you to tell him don't do it, "when you do whatever you're planning, please, if you're in trouble notify me." You said as you grabbed his face and made him look at you, "I know the hero killer was involved, your mom told me, but I feel like it wasn't just him, your brother isn't a fake hero, someone prompted him and I think it's my fault."

Tenya watched you, "I'm sorry, so let me help with your plan." Tenya nodded, "okay, and it's not your fault, no one is at fault but the villains who did this." He told you as you wrapped him in a hug, holding his head as he cried into your shoulder, "(Y/n), thank you, for understanding." He said as he wrapped his arms around your back, "of course I understand, I would feel like you if someone hurt Raburi or you, I think I would go on a rampage." You confessed.

"So, you think they're out there having a cute moment?" Tensei asked joking while Raburi started to cry, "Tensei-nii, why are you joking, you can't do your normal work anymore." He nodded a no, "things like this happen Raburi, this is the reality of a hero, I want you and Tenya to learn from this." He told the boy watching him, "please, learn from this." Raburi nodded at his favorite hero, "no matter what you'll always be my favorite hero!" He shouted as he cried more, "no matter if you can't do the work anymore."

Tensei smiled at the boy, "come here." He said as he sat himself up, Raburi walked over and hugged his favorite hero, "even if you're not one anymore you'll always be my hero Tensei-nii." Tensei smiled at his words, "even after Iida takes the ingenium name?" "Yeah, even after that you'll rank number one!" Raburi said crying hard while Tenya and you walked into the room.

"Do you guys want one too?" He asked making light of the situation for you two, "yeah." You said as you walked over hovering over Raburi while Tenya joined in on the hug, "you're still a reassuring hero you know that?" You told him as he laughed, "thanks (Y/n)."
