Tenya and Raburi sat down with Yuki as you and Akarui talked, "you're going to have to dull your quirk down and act like you're on a high school level." You nodded, "who's today client?" He read you the client's name, going into the room you looked at the blonde, "hello."
She waved, "I understand your quirk is like mine." She nodded, "I keep accidental copying my classmate's quirks and I can't stop. I'm just like a villain!" The girl started crying, your stomach turned in knots, "hey, that's fine."
Taking her hands you smiled, "I copy quirks too it's not bad." "But they stop! Their quirks always stop." You looked at her with sad eyes, "how long?" "Three hours." You looked at her and nodded, "I read it's with skin to skin contact right?" She nodded at you, "you can only copy one right?" She nodded again.
Going around the corner you came back with rubber gloves, "what quirk does your little friend here have?" "He has a fire quirk." "Go test it on him alright?" She nodded, walking over to her friend she shook his hand, "hey kid will you use your quirk?" He nodded, turning his quirk on he shot fire through his nose.
Looking at the girl you smiled, "See, it's not something you need to fix, just work around it. Your quirk is yours embrace it, don't think of yourself as a monster."
You repeated those words to her that you told your brother long ago, "be the hero you want to be, no one has to play the part of the villain." Her mother smiled at you, "thank you for saying the words I could never say." You blushed at her praise, "Ma'am I didn't do anything it's fine."
The three walked away thanking you while you waved goodbye, "you do good work kid." "Thanks, Akarui. I wish I could have done more for her, now it's just a temporary fix until she can come to terms with it." "What matters is you found a fix, for now, I'm sure they all appreciate it." You nodded.
"Hey what's Yuki's quirk?" "Oh, you want to see it?" You nodded, watching through the window glass you saw as she melted a bottle standing a few feet away from it, "what's that?" "It's called ashes-and-flakes, if she focuses she can melt or freeze the objects around her and even the inside of human bodies, she can reduce them to ashes or snowflakes, her father had a body temperature quirk and her mother had a fire ice quirk, with that she got a dangerous quirk."
If her and Raburi were to have kids could they explode people from the inside like volcanoes? Those kids could kill.
"It's one of those I can't copy huh?" You asked watching her sweat. He nodded a yes, "what's even scarier is she can regulate her temperature." "What happened to her parents?" "They ditched her here."
You looked at her, "does none of her family want her?" He nodded his head, "her quirk can melt the inside of human bodies, they've all said it was terrifying and villainous." "A quirk is a quirk." You replied as she started making flowers out of glass.
"You only become a villain with a quirk if that's what you want, how do stupid people get blessed with kids?" Akarui looked at you and chuckled, "you always act like you're a parent (Y/n)." You shrugged, "I just don't get it, they have a kid, carry them for nine to eleven months, they come out with the wrong quirk and they toss them aside. It's a person, not a toy."
Your phone dinged, "lunch", pushing on the button to speak to Yuki "want to come out for lunch with me?" Yuki walked out looking at you, "really?" "Yeah, my treat."
I want to get to know her, and see if she's happy here. You thought watching the green haired girl.
Yuki walked out with you to Tenya and Raburi, "Raburi, I don't think that's how you flirt." "Tenya-nii hear me out! You just have to tell my sister that!" "I'm not telling her if she was a booger I would pick her first." You laughed at their conversation, "Raburi, don't tell people that."
"I would have loved to hear that!" He shouted, "oh, Yuki!" "Hello, your sister invited me out to lunch." You nodded, "it's just me and her, so I hope you don't mind me ditching him onto you Tenya." "Not at all!" He shouted as the two of them went back to talking, "how long has it been since you had fast food?" "Five years, I think." She said, tapping her forehead trying to think, you giggled at her antic, "want anything specific?" "A burger and fries." You nodded as the two of you took off foot.
Getting into a fast food joint you ordered yours and hers food. "Is there a reason you called me out?" She asked as you got your food. "Kind of, I was wondering if you're happy being in there." "Why?" "Well, I heard about your parents, when you'll be in your first year of highschool, I would be out and I was wondering if you want to stay with us?" She started tearing up, "you don't have to if you don't want to!" You said grabbing tissues out of your bag and handing them to her, she nodded a no, "that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me."
You could feel your heart drop, "hey, how about I talk to your parents, I was certified to take Raburi in, I don't mind having another..." She cut you off, "no, I want to wait for my parents, I want them to see how far I've come without them, but if you could, could you get them to sign this."
She handed you a letter, one like Raburis, "I, just like Raburi, should be skipping a few grades since I'm ahead of everyone else." You smiled at her, "yeah I can go, are they not coming down?" "They won't pick up calls or phones, they told them to send someone over since they don't want to see me."
You nodded, "I will, do you want me to leave anything out?" She nodded a no, "if you could, could you tell them, that I met my soulmate, I want them to know, that even without them, I'm still doing good."
You smiled at the girl, "of course."
Now that I take in her features she really is pretty, long forest green hair, red crimson eyes, a small nose, and lips, she really is like a doll.
"You know you're actually really pretty, I remember Raburi telling me about you but I thought it was a little crush, but you must get a lot of confessions." She blushed, "no not all! I tell people I'm quirkless so not too many socialize with me." You hummed, "if anyone takes it too far let me know alright? I know some middle schoolers can be mean." She nodded.
Finishing the meal the two of you headed back, "Yuki did she say anything weird!" "You cheeky little shit." You mumbled under your breath, "No! We just talked about her going down so I can skip the grades with you." Yuki responded getting nervous and shy about it, for her first words being so rude she sure is a nervous girl.
"Why were your first words to him so rude?" You asked, interested on the contrast change "oh! Well, he kept joking around with his friends and said something stupid and it just left my mouth." You laughed, "so you have no filter? That's good my brother needs someone to be honest with him." She giggled as your brother blushed, "knock that off (Y/n)-nee!" You giggled, "I need to get back to work."
Going back to your work Yuki, Raburi, and Tenya stayed together and talked, "(Y/n) I need you to fill out paperwork." You groaned I hate paperwork.
