"I'm going on a date with Pudding~!" Sanji could scream at the top of his lungs that no one was there to stop him having the time of his life. There wouldn't be any Zoro stealing the spotlight and any Luffy getting all the beautiful women. It was just him and Pudding.
Both of them arrived at a chocolate house by the side of the hill. It was a bit far away from the market that they were at a few moments ago and this made Sanji wonder. "By the way, Pudding-chan, why are you in this town? Why aren't you managing your bakery in Totto Land?"
Pudding settled her groceries on the countertop and sighed, losing the energy to argue with him any longer. "I wanted to be away from that place. It reminds me of how Mama used me like a doll to manipulate other people. It made me want to start my life over." She didn't mention that she also wanted to forget her memories with Sanji there.
"How brave of Pudding-chwan~! I love your fighting spirit! It makes me want to like you even more~!" Sanji, as usual, behaved like a hardcore Pudding fan. However, he didn't know that his words already make such a huge impact on her and that made her heart ache.
Inside a drawer in her bedroom was the film that she cut out from Sanji's memories back then. Thinking about it now, Pudding wished she had the courage to throw it away and forget what happened, but she couldn't. Sanji was the first person to appreciate and tell her that she was beautiful with her third eye. She believes no person can ever do that like Sanji can.
Pudding placed a cup of tea on the table for Sanji and he gladly took it, "Coming from someone who tells me I haven't changed, same goes to you. Sanji, the womanizer, as usual." In a blink of an eye, Sanji has already seated beside her, grinning from ear to ear.
"Oh, I'm no womanizer. I just can't resist seeing a beautiful lady like you without any care." Sanji went all out with his tactics but Pudding sees right through it and playfully slapped his chest.
"Stop the act. Can't you see I'm drinking my tea—" Pudding glared at him but Sanji was in the process of wrapping his arms around her and almost toppled the cup on Pudding. The man held her close, observing the eye on her forehead.
"Your eye has grown more beautiful, Pudding-chan." His words made her gulp the nervousness forming in her throat. It's been a long time since she was hugged close and that familiar sensation came back to her again. She truly missed his warmth.
Pudding barely managed to croak out, "L...Let me go, you bastard." She put her hands in front of her in fear that Sanji might feel her heart beating wildly. Deep inside, her feelings that she once buried were exploding like fireworks.
"You tell me to let you go yet your hands hold onto me so much." Sanji was in his womanizer act that he's usually in when he's with a pretty woman. Pudding didn't like the fact that he still had an effect on her. His weird gestures and over-flowery words were cringey but Pudding couldn't seem to shake it off.
"Say..." Sanji stopped to think, realizing something.
Pudding shakily gazed up above the attractive man before her. In his arms, she could feel the difference of his body from before and in the present. If she were chocolate, she would have already melted a long time ago. "Wh..What now?"
"The favor that you requested before—what was it?" Their eyes met when Sanji looked down on Pudding who was still in his embrace. This sent a chill up the woman's spine upon hearing the favor. If she told him, Sanji would take the guilt upon himself for leaving the woman who loved him. Pudding didn't want to be a burden.
"I forgot. Look, it's a long time ago, Sanji. Why could I possibly remember—?"
His firm voice made her shut up, "Stop lying. I know when a woman lies and keeps a secret deep down in her heart."
